No, it was not the Parliament...it was one man's opinion.

Cynthias McKinney is not a member of the President's Cabinent, while this man is one of the dozen or so Ministers, or heads of departments, in the Government of Kenya. Comparable to the President's cabinent secretaries here. The parlimentry system doesn't really have 3 branches of government, the executive and legislative are combined.

If anyone is in a position to know, the cabinent ministers probably are, espcially the ones from Mr. Odinga's party.

To make a statement that this is an isolated incidence shows ignorance. A simple google search for “Kenyans who believe Obama is Native son”, shows citizens of kenya..everywhere who believe that he is infact a Kenyan. Not to be discounted is his Grandma (Sarah), who witnessed his birth and a half sister, who still maintain he was born in Mombasa. Now it is not surprising that everyone from Raila Odinga to Parlament house state representative also make statements saying the same thing.
