Alfa, you ARE in for a treat. "Piece of Cake" is one of the best and most beautiful TV series ever made, from the music to the acting to the beautiful airplanes. There is no such thing as too many Spitfires.

Woodward's son played Rex who I think was Squadron Commander.

Finny unfortunately they had difficulty getting lots of spitfires, for filming.

An expert (not me) can tell they modified many of the planes to resemble them. Quite the debate on the comment sections of you tube entries.

From my understanding they got lots of the planes from Spain.
