RE US pilots not flying against Israel. Do you mean the US pilots would refuse to obey the order, or their commanders would not give the order? Please explain.

Both. Gates wouldn’t allow the order to be given, and US pilots - most at least - would simple “fail to acquire lock” in the air if it was. (”They must have some new stealth technology, I could see them but just couldn’t get tone!”)
