I don’t think Orly understands the document she has in front of her. (JMHO)

I kind of have that feeling also.

You must have misunderstood me. I’m not advocating obamas death. I’m only saying that I think he won’t step down. He’ll off himself first. After escalating things to the point he has no other option.

Judge Carter is going to follow the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Those rules prohibit intentional delays. Yes, if Judge Carter believes there are intentional delays, he’ll order the defense to comply. The defense should be preparing for discovery. I haven’t suggested otherwise so I don’t know what your point is.

I hope that a group of Native Born Attorneys will step up to the plate and give Ms. Taitz some assistance on this.

Thanks for posting that - it's been my thought, also. What is at stake is so over the top, she should have a team of constitutional attorneys. There's something missing from all of this.

I wonder how that fellow who chased the acorns out of the park is going to feel when he reviews the video and realizes the American Flag he has stuck in his shirt pocket is upside down.

He probably did that on purpose. The flag flown upside down is a distress call. Others at the rally in DC were flying full sized flags upside down too.

Where I am lost here is: when and where did the judge order discovery, expedited or not?

Last week, 9/8, in the California case (Keyes, et al), the judge set a hearing in October on the defendants’(Obama et al) dismissal motion. He indicated the defendants would have to meet a high bar to have their motion to dismiss granted.

Assuming the dismissal motion is not granted he would then order discovery according to the FRCP, and he has ‘penciled in’ a pre-trial and trial date. If the case IS dismissed on motion, there is no discovery

There was to be, I understood, a hearing today in Georgia about the flight surgeon who was ordered to Afghanistan.

Is the Order that is the topic of this thread regarding discovery from the court in Georgia or California?

No. Orly’s total lack of professionalism in and out of court is what affects my judgment. I can’t figure out if she just doesn’t understand the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, which is a first-year law school class, or if there is a significant language barrier that prohibits her understanding. Either way, there is sufficient lack of understanding on her part to make me seriously question her abilities.

Sadly, I wish that were the case but despite all that, she seems to have stars aligning for her like no other so, here's to keeping our fingers crossed.

You’re not lost. Judge Carter didn’t order discovery. Orly doesn’t understand the basic rules of civil procedure. The judge hasn’t yet ruled on her motion for expedited discovery.

Apparently, the judge said/wrote that he “encourages early discovery,” which Orly took to mean that the judge was ordering discovery. She thinks Obama has 30 days to respond. She also thinks he has to sit for a depostion in her office and produce the documentation she’s requesting.

I hadn’t heard of that story before, has anything come of it?

It would get more traction if they named names, all this hide and seek stuff gets nowhere.

I would love it to be true though. Maybe Beck’s call for Reformers will flush them into the limelight.

We can only hope.

Maybe a total new election is required???
