Van Jones Protested 1998 Attacks on Al-Queda Camps, Said US Not A "True Democracy" Before Rosa Parks

If anyone in the Obama Administration wanted to do the least bit of vetting into the background of Van Jones, they could have started with the archives of the SFGate, where you can find the history of Jones' radical activism as a defender of criminals against Bay Area police, a supporter of cop killer Mumia abu Jamal and a radical supporter of America's enemies.

In short, Van Jones has always been on the side of the perpetrator, be it criminals or al-Queda terrorists.

His defense of Islamofascist terrorists didn't just begin after September 11, 2001. In this August 1998 Chronicle story, he spoke at a San Francisco rally after then-President Bill Clinton launched his sole action in response to any al-Queda attack on America by bombing an asprin plant in Sudan and missile strikes on terrorist training camps in Afghanistan where Osama bin Laden was rumored to have been (and was tipped off, thanks to the Clinton Administration notifying Pakistan of the incoming missle strike).
