It might pass. And Republicans who vote against it will be pilloried in 2010 by every geezer you’ve managed to piss off.

yep, this can be used against the democrats but it would be such a pity if we adopted their tactics,,LOL at me. I say we use it, demogogue it to death and pin it on our dear leader. Works for me.
BTW when this cutting the oldsters off their so called dole comes up in my household, I tell the children it is okay with me. We had planned to leave our capital to them and just live off the earnings at 3.5 percent a year for the rest of our lives. I tell them if we are “cut off” we will just spend down and I am sure they will understand that inheritance is wrong anyway.
I even like to goose them by saying we will refuse any social security and just spend down our estate. It usually just makes them very very silent.
