What a shock. The unions (and any of their members who accept such a “benefit”) are a cancer in this country...disgusting. Traitors, just like their bought-and-paid-for b*tches in the United States Congress.

And almost certainly unconstitutional. They should call this tax the “jizya.”

Not just a big treat for the current unions, but it would push other employees to form unions to get their benefits tax free.

It's definitely a special deal for UAW. Other unions don't fare as well, nor will disabled veterans, federal government employees, state employees, welfare recipients, medical research organizations, public hospitals, etc.
As usual the Democrat financing plan for expanding "insurance" (can't call it "health care insurance" 'cause it has nothing to do with "health care") will consolidate all federal payments related to medical costs into a single pool.
Those payments will then be distributed among a larger body of recipients.
I suspect the way it will be laid down to federal employees is that "due to savings available by consolidating federal payments for medical services, your employer contribution of 75% can now be reduced to 50% of the previous costs. Your personal contribution of 25% will remain unchanged."

Fascism -- the government does not necessarily own the means of production, but uses tax and regulatory policy to reward those businesses and labor institutions which support national political efforts. And uses tax and regulatory policies to punish those businesses and labor institutions which oppose national political efforts.
The Corporate State refers to a "body" (corpus) in which all economic, social and political parts of the national system work together for a common purpose, a purpose which is outlined by a charismatic political leader.

First, republicans/conservatives MUST stop playing around and make ourselves heard. We cannot keep sitting back and letting the liberals walk all over us.
Second, if they pass that mess about having open elections when it comes to unions, we’re all screwed. Secret ballots are the only thing that keeps us from being “punished” by employers and unions alike.
