Given the end of football season and the tragic loss of the nature-loving Seahawks to the capitalist pig Steelers, environmentalist wackos everywhere have turned their attention toward the NCAA and the approaching men’s basketball tournament in March. Here’s a breakdown of this week’s biggest game...

Big East Basketball: #1 Connecticut Huskies vs. #10 West Virginia Mountaineers

Saturday’s NCAA showdown between Top 10 Big East powers pits a collection of fluffy-white snow-dwelling creatures, otherwise known as man’s best friend, against a collection of humans who have betrayed the trusting canine species by engaging in a protracted campaign of environmental mutilation.

For centuries on end, the beautiful Huskie species of wolverine have combed snowcapped mountainsides in packs (also known as socialist collectives), participating in the splendorous world of wonder that is Mother Nature. The human race can learn much from a pack of Huskies. Huskies work together as a group (the communist ideal). When one in the group is injured, the others take care of him without thought (universal healthcare). They share food equally without regard for class or pretense (food stamps). And they hail from Connecticut (where conservatism is outlawed). Simply put, the Huskies are the most glorious socialist creatures of the ecosystem.

This weekend the Huskies will facedown the seething hatred of the infamous Mountaineer. Once upon a time, mountaineers were vaunted members of the environmentalist wacko elite. They lived in caves or small shacks, and their lives had little impact on the surrounding environment. Then coal was discovered in West Virginia. Greed drove the mountaineers to the dark side. They became capitalists. Today, mountaineers ravage the landscape of West Virginia with inhumane capitalist-made steel destruction machines. They dig big holes in the Earth Goddess Gaia with no appreciation for the blessings she has bestowed upon them.

To make matters worse, West Virginia completed her betrayal of the animal kingdom by voting for George W. Bush in the past two presidential elections. Raping the landscape with mechanized mining equipment can sometimes be forgiven, but to vote for the Hitler-clone Bush is to ignore all reason and spit in the face of good diplomatic relations with our holy blessed mother, Mother Nature.

Therefore, the Connecticut Huskies must and will annihilate the West Virginia Mountaineers.
