DUmmie FUnnies 07-01-05 ("Two Cases of Bile"--- DUmmies Discuss Scamdy Article)
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | July 1, 2005 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

Posted on 07/01/2005 7:18:18 AM PDT by PJ-Comix

It has been somewhat quiet on the Andy Stephenson front during the past month of June but here it is the beginning of July and the Scamdy scandal is breaking out all over again. The latest outbreak is in the Seattle Weekly magazine as you can see in this ARTICLE titled, “Two Cases of Bile” which is also the title of this DUmmie THREAD discussing the article. I urge everybody out there to read this Seattle Weekly article in that it provides great laughs in the Whitewash Dept.. Most particularly this line from the article, “’He has pancreatic cancer,’ says Johnson.” So is Johnson some qualified physician finally giving us assurance of the true nature of Scamdy’s condition? Nope. Johnson was a nurse practitioner who became a primary care provider for Scamdy. I think I have problems with my kidneys so I guess I’ll be consulting a nurse practitioner for a diagnosis. As usual the gullible DUmmie weepings (sans any commentary from Pied Piper Pitt or Skinner) is in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, wondering if the Scamdy fraud trial will take place in Washington state or Maryland, is in the [brackets]:

Good article from a good paper. Would freerepublic raise 50,000 dollars if one of them needed it? I doubt it.

[Gullible article from a gullible paper. The Free Republic would NOT allow the recipient of medical funds to receive $50,000 without the slightest bit of accountability as your gullible Skinner has done.]

It would never occur to them to do so Personal responsibility and all that sort of thing!

[Personal ACCOUNTABILITY and all that sort of thing. Skinner allowed DUmmieland to be scammed by a con artist ONCE AGAIN.]

No one ever claimed to be professional fund raisers.

[And DUmmieland is certainly an amateur act thanx to Skinner. It’s gonna be a lot of fun watching both Skinner and Pied Piper Pitt sweating bullets on the witness stand during the Scamdy trial.]

think someone else said this - it was really DU's finest hour. The freepers must be jealous.

[The Freepers are jealous that you put on a better comedy act than anything they could come up with. The way you DUmmies were so easily SCAMMED is a comedy act that is hard to top.]

I hope we can finally end this controversy.

[Pied Piper Pitt certainly does since his worrying over this scandal has caused him to stay awake since April.]

I don't get it. How can this Grady guy claim that Andy "defrauded" anyone if the money was given freely and voluntarily for a medical emergency that has been confirmed and surgery that has been performed?

[Um…Duhhhh!!! Maybe because Scamdy claimed to have pancreatic cancer in order to raise big bucks when he really suffered from something different which did NOT necessitate surgery at Johns Hopkins.]

I never quite understood the Bev Harris thing.

[It’s simple. She scammed you DUmmies and then her assistant, Andy, turned around and scammed you AGAIN.]

I don't get it, either...I believe the ones of us who contributed to Andy were more concerned with getting his surgery done in time to worry too much about how professional the fund raising was.

[Yeah, it’s really “tough” to simply have a third party, such as Skinner, collect the money for Scamdy.]

Hold the flames, but… Something about the article doesn't quite read right, although the generally sorry state of medical reporting could be the cause. My cousin died of pancreatic cancer a few years ago and I spent weeks on the Internet trying to find something, anything, that offered hope. But pancreatic cancer is usually diagnosed only after it has already metastasized. No one has ever been confirmed as surviving metastasized pancreatic cancer. Never heard of treating it with radiation, and I think that surgery is fairly rare. Often the only treament is a chemo protocal know as Gemzar(sp?), which only provides comfort, not recovery.

[And this DUmmie WINS an Andy Stephenson Kewpie Doll for having a brief moment of mental clarity for realizing that something is not quite right about this article.]

don't believe his has metastasized and when it comes to pancreatic cancer, they are continuing to make strides. His tumor was encapsulated.

[Skinner has been encapsulating any mention of “pancreatic cancer” in DUmmieland and tombstoning it.]

Fred Grady has been exposed as a Moran and that will follow him for the rest of his life. Does the idiot still have his web site up?

[Yes. http://www.scamdy.com. Visit it and you might learn something. And the threads in the discussion forum are NOT locked as Skinner tends to down when “pancreatic cancer” is mentioned too much in DUmmieland.]

I suppose now that it is proven Andy has cancer they will accuse us of stealing a tumour and implanting it in Andy.

[A nurse practitioner diagnosed pancreatic cancer. I’m CONVINCED!!!]

Because the Freepers want Andy to die. I'm now convinced that that is the reason.

[Actually we want Andy to LIVE and testify In court as to how easily he scammed the DUmmies with the aide of the incredibly gullible Skinner and that hapless cheerleading fool, Pied Piper Pitt.]

Why would someone pay for a site just to attack Andy and his friends? That is what blew me away.. that this accountant fellow (freeper) would actually spend his own money to take out a website like that. Does that man not have any clients? Hope his clients realize what a putz he is and what a bad head for money he apparently has.

[Maybe he wants the world to know how easily conned the DUmmies were by scam artist Andy.]

Do you think this article will help shut them up? It proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that Andy really does have cancer, did have surgery and is still recovering. You would think this would be the end of scamdy.

[Only the end of the beginning of Scamdy. Now the fun begins as more spotlight is shined on Andy’s scam. As to it proving “beyond a shadow of doubt” that Andy had pancreatic cancer, are you in the habit of turning to nurse practitioners for a medical diagnosis of something that could be life threatening?]

Fantastic journalism. Obviously this kind of journalism can only be done these days at an independent weekly, since it doesn't manufacture moral equivalence between Andy and the jackals who accuse him of faking his cancer. The reporter actually did the hard work of seeing for himself. My best to Mr Stephenson for a speedy recovery.

[That reporter deserves a Pulitzer Prize for going no further than a nurse practitioner to obtain a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer for Scamdy.]

I think I may just go visit Stanton. Who wants to come along? When we get there we can play baseball. So bring your bat! We could also go pheasant hunting along the way, so bring your shotgun and some birdshot. And then we can take Mr. Grady out for coffee and settle our differences in a civilized manner. Sounds like a fun trip, no?

[Sounds like a death threat, yes? And it WILL be used as evidence at your trial, Dummie benburch. I repeat, DUmmie benburch.]

They keep harping on the "Three Questions" Well here's my answer WHO THE F*CK ARE YOU TO DEMAND AN ANSWER TO ANYTHING YOU FREEPER SCUMBAGS?!?! WHAT DOES ANDY OWE YOU AN EXPLANATION FOR?

[LOL!!! Ignorance, thy name is DUmmie.]

I'm in the second group.

”Another group appears to be people who are rightfully concerned about Internet scams.”

And I think there's a lot of people in this group with me.

[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!]

are you saying you think this was a scam?

[DUhhhhh!!!]

Left-Wing Web site? whoever wrote that doesn't read this site very carefully...

[LOL!!! FUnniest DUmmie line of the week!]

f*ck cancer, and f*ck freepers... I didn't know Andy had had complications. I hope he is feeling and doing better soon, and isn't listening to all the negative crap. I don't care one bit that this wasn't done the usual way, it was an unusual circumstance, with little to no time to plan. I was happy to donate, and still am happy I did.

[I don’t care that Andy scammed me and I would be happy to be conned again!]

I'm not completely up to date on what's going on, but I do know that I stumbled upon a post by WilliamPitt that was demanding answers from Andy because, according to him, the whipple procedure was not done. Has the story changed?

[Pied Piper Pitt “cleared” it up by posting a FAX document from late April claiming that Scamdy’s “pancreatic cancer” surgery was scheduled for the week of May 23 even though at the time of the FAX, the surgery was scheduled for early May and wasn’t rescheduled until AFTER the FAX was sent. Oh, and this is one big reason why Pitt has been completely SILENT about Scamdy recently. I notice that Pitt didn’t even sign on to Scamdy’s get well card in DUmmieland.]

a two-bit reporter who couldn't investigate a hairball left in his shoe by the neighbor's cat

He'd either say it's bunionatic cancer (although that remains "unclear") or else that the neighbor sent the cat over to attack him because he's a progressive activist.

Get a life. I simply wished him a quick recovery. It's called giving him the benefit of the doubt and is the Christian thing to do.

I was onto his scams with Bev long before most people so chill out.

If he doesn't have cancer, guess who's going to have some serious bad karma but you getting all bent out of shape because I wished him well tells me plenty about you're issues.

There are two groups, one who does it just for politics and one who is just concerned about internet fraud? Umm, so far I haven't seen ONE person who thinks this Andy thing is suspicious just because he's a Democrat. If they think that, they seriously need to grow up.

Cindie,

It's summer. Kids, neighbors' kids, beach time. When away from home don't have the use of a computer. When I get back here I have to catch up but have been following the Andy Saga by going over four or five threads at a time to catch up.

Think this threat to franksolich should be taken seriously. These people are not just trying to protect Andy, they are very nervous that the attention will move to their movement organizations and how they are financed.

When you can raise $350,000 in less than two months with little or no accountability for where it goes, as Joan Krawitz did when she started a 527, "Help America Recount" right after the 2004 election, it is imperative that unfavorable publicity be avoided.

Krawitz is the Executive Director of Votetrustusa.org, another money machine. Andy Stephenson is variously listed as the Training Director, Education Director, GrassRoots Organizer, of votetrustusa.org and was so listed as far back as April 11.

Kevin Zeese is president of votetrustusa. Mr. Zeese is responsible for organizational strategy, fund raising, coalition building, and fiscal oversight. Zeese also heads his own Anti-Anti Drug organization with and annual budget of $500,000; George Soros donated $125,000. http://www.thenation.com/doc.mhtml?i=19990920&c=2&s=baker

For someone who begged for money from strangers because he was "gainfully un-employed," Andy stayed pretty busy "working with CASE America, National Ballot Integrity Project (interesting founders,ed.) and Velvet Revolution....Case America is led by Susan Truitt."

They are desperate to shut down this discussion, but, in my opinion, not just to protect themselves and Andy, but to shield their organizations from scrutiny.

If Benburch's incitement to violence against franksolich is any indication, they are quite comfortable with criminality in pursuing their goals.

I hope all is well with you Cindie. b

Good point!

It is my understanding that Andy Stephenson is now claiming Medicaid (through unemployment and being unable to work) when it appears, from the VoteTrustUSA website, that Andy has a job with VoteTrustUSA. It would be interesting to see if VoteTrustUSA is listed with all necessary states as a non-profit. Further, it would be interesting to find out if Andy's position there is paid or voluntary.

Anyone know?

"It is my understanding that Andy Stephenson is now claiming Medicaid "

It would be interesting to know if they know Andy has raised money for his medical expenses. I still think there is a possibility that he brought in much more than he admits.

No, I believe you said, "And you know he doesn't have cancer because..."

My answer was the "because..." part. Using cancer to scam people of money is pretty grave too...some of the stories of people who gave are heartwrenching. And I DO take it personally when someone uses the "send money now or Andy will die" club to beat people into donating, applies heavy doses of tag-team bashing to anyone who dares ask questions and then at the end practically says "oh nevermind...it wasn't that bad...he's got a 95% chance of survival" (rather unheard of in the annals of Pancreatic cancer). Worst of all, and the part that I take most personally, is that it makes a mockery of people who are dying of cancer and fighting for their life right now. It disrespects everyone who fought cancer and lost. So if I can help Karma along a little I will. Watching someone I loved being eaten away by cancer...towards the end his blood became so thick they could hardly find a vein to inject pain medication into and then compare that to Andy's flitting around the country makes me livid. Cindie

I an understand your passion. You don't know he doesn't have cancer. If he doesn't and KNEW he didn't and allowed to happen what happened, then I don't think the worlds small enough to protect him.

You have to ask yourself, what kind of low life scum would actually pretend they have cancer for WHATEVER reason. There's that woman who even shaved her head to make it look like she was losing her hair from the treatments. I think they eventually found her to be a bit touched in the head.

As for Andy, yes, he does seem rather spry for such major surgery. I had a herniorphy which penetrates the abdominal wall to put in some Kevlar to strengthen the weak spot and I wasn't singing show songs, I was screaming for Percodan baby!

I've had MANY surgeries and I thought hell, I'll be back to work by Monday, the surgery was on a Friday. I went to work but I looked so bad they demanded I go home and it took the better part of three weeks before I could eat anything other than pastina. His surgery penetrated his abdominal wall as well but maybe he's younger, hell, I recovered easily when I was 25 compared to when I was 40.

I look at it this way, things have a way of happening to people who would pull this B.S. Call it Karmic retribution, God's retribution or Freeper's retribution through the FBI reports but these things have a way of working out.

This shunning of Scamdy by Pied Piper Pitt continues. I just checked the DUmmie Greeting Card for Scamdy and NOTHING posted by Pitt. Remember, everybody, Pitt was Scamdy's BIGGEST cheerleader on the Web and now there is nothing coming from Pitt except for a BIG CHILL in Scamdy's direction.

That picture always cracks me up. I was reading this goodboy post in DUmmie Land and I thought it was a goodboy parody at first.

A Dean Scream at the end wouldn't have been out of place.

Now they're trying people for attempted manslaughter. If anyone is guilty of attempted manslaughter it is whoever talked Andy into delaying his operation so he could go to JH.

And whoever fed him tomatoes and red peppers only two weeks after major surgery.

Well, this is story is another POS. The surgery, I believe, was supposedly originally scheduled for May 10th, not May 12, as the article says. Can these people not get one date right?

Much more. They ran a series of begging threads on over a hundred, possibly over 200 websites, and spamming like mad from lists that might be considered questionable.

Beth started a begging thread in DU's Panic Room for Hard-Luck Andy in December, 2004, and it continued right through his cross-country flights to attend anti-inauguration festivities with Susan Truitt, Will Pitt, and others; there were threads on many websites through February 2005, expanding throughout the Left-wing cyber-space, and did not slacken even when Andy was shown to be healthy enough to attend two conferences on vote-fraud money-raising conferences in Ohio and Tenn.

Andy could have just not mentioned the money collected when he applied for welfare/medicaid; if he had set up a revocable trust he would not have to declare income from the trust. Unless this rule was changed by Welfare Reform, income from trusts is considered "unearned income" and not counted in determining eligibility.

I agree; considerably more than the 50 thousand range figure they are pushing, was sent directly to Andy. It's nonsense for them to claim there wasn't time to set up appropriate safeguards; this has been going on since December 2004.

On the second Andy thread today, Bad Stuff for Black Box (Andy Stephenson story), that brave soul amazona has once again dared to question the party line:

amazona (1000+ posts) Fri Jul-01-05 08:27 PM

40. hmmm

I should not have had to read in the Seattle Weekly that the individual who initiated the fund-raising for Andy had never met him in real life at the time. So all the "vouches" for what a great guy he was were apparently not based strictly on the truth. This person could have very easily taken us down a garden path.

I don't feel anything is closed. I realize I'm in the minority. But as long as the issue is open for discussion, it is going to be discussed.

This matter was handled badly and it left good people, including a severely sick man, open to potential fraud investigations. Claiming that Johns Hopkins delayed surgery because of some internet posts -- at the time the story was the surgery was delayed because of a lost check, you know -- is completely untrue and makes me wonder what the heck is going on here. There was no manslaughter or murder attempt. A clerk at Johns Hopkins misplaced a check. Period. End of sentence.

Grandiose and hysterical claims discredit Andy, discredit DU, and discredit future fund-raising efforts. And they fuel continued doubt and rumors.

41. really the perp was a clerk at Johns Hopkins

If I was a freeper, I'd be very tempted to email this whole thread and link to the hospital in question. Andy himself posted that the surgery was delayed because of a misplaced check in the mail room. I'm sure they'd be fascinated to see that these kind of claims are being made, since they would be the defendant in a legal action.

I think we should email the admins and ask that the thread be removed. This can't possibly help Andy and it could very badly hurt him.

Lies and exaggeration do not help our cause. You do not want the FBI investigating you when you have people, claiming to be on your side, who are telling lies. Lying to an FBI agent, even though you are not under oath or in court, is a federal offense with mandatory prison time.

This is a mess, people. Shut down the exaggerated claims. I've known people investigated by the FBI. It ain't pretty. You could be putting a sick man in grave danger.

Well, she's right about it being a mess.

A mess that could've been, easily, prevented.

The DUmmie FUnnies beginning April 28 outlined a road-map for the Andyites to prevent a mess, but the Andyites paid no attention to the DUmmie FUnnies until three weeks--three weeks!--three weeks!--three weeks!--too late.

If the Andyites had paid attention to the DUmmie FUnnies from the beginning, there would've been no mess.

You've got the right way of thinking about it. Ultra-lib leftist Rosie O'Donnell has got the wrong way of thinking when she said (in a court of law) that people who tell lies get cancer.
