The Passing of Yassir Arafat

The news of the death of Yassir Arafat has struck the intellectual world – already reeling from the brutal assault of the Bush presidency - like a hammer. Our reporters contacted several top spokespersons of the American aristocracy to get their reactions:

"Arafat’s passing is a great loss for us. As you know, human beings are the greatest threat to this planet’s continued survival, and Arafat worked hard to rid the planet of that threat. At least, he was working hard on eradicating the people whom he had chosen for his ‘Special Project.’ With Osama temporarily out of commission, Arafat gone and Kerry sulking in Massachusetts, world population will now undoubtedly spiral out of control." -Zero Population Growth

"What we want to know is, what’s with the burning tires? Don’t the Palestinians realize that they can’t go around burning tires to show their grief? Global warming, ozone layer, doesn’t anyone read the news?" -Greenpeace

Did you all see this?

Australian Prime Minister John Howard said history would judge Arafat harshly. Arafat could have helped secure Middle East peace by accepting a deal in 2000 that would have resulted in the Israelis "agreeing to about 90 percent of what the Palestinians had wanted," Howard said. Howard said he also found it hard to believe that Arafat could not have done more to restrain terrorists

The only leader who dares to speak the truth about this evil man.

That's what I told my husband when he said that he hopes Bush does not go to the funeral.
I told him that they should send Carter.

Plus they also talked to Greenpeace and ZPG.

I wouldn't send Carter. They should take Carter's passport away. Send a low level functionary in the State department.

I saw Fox speculating last night about who the Bush Administration would send to his funeral. They should send no one. In the first place we should in no way honor this pig's passing and in the second place..have you ever seen a funeral for one of these animals? Whoever was sent would be in grave danger. Remember how the Iranians treated the corpse of their lunatinc Ayatollah Khomeini?

How about sending a contingent of U.S. Marines to kill more of the gathered terrorists.

How about a daisy cutter?

Targeted on the coffin.

Collateral damage would be quite impressive.

I hope Carter is able to go.

Understand we're sending a mid-level State Department official.

Imagine Arafat's surprise on passing from this world, expecting to be greeted by the sweet singing of angels, only to be received by the screeching, wailing demons of the hell he so richly earned.

May Fidel join him soon . . . very soon!
