Oh, please. After repeated attempts to derail the thread with gripes about homosexual appointments, you have the nerve to tell me to get on topic? HA!

Regarding the article, the instances which are cited happened in 2001, and I am certain that these connections were not known at that time by the event coordinators at the White House. If Gaffney had cited recent appearances, I might be more concerned.

Norquist's connections with certain Islamic groups have been noted on numerous threads here on Free Republic, and to my knowledge Norquist is not being invited to the White House for consultation.
