Somehow, in the last thirty years, my hometown of Orlando developed a large and noisy community of gays and other weirdos — and quite a lot of Palestinians as well as an Al Queda cell that had a role in the 9/11 attacks. Every now and then, the mix becomes combustible, as when a Muslim terrorist drove up from Ft. Pierce to shoot up The Pulse gay nightclub.
The numbers of gays is due to employment at Disney and Universal.
