“A clawback”?
As if Garland and his buddies owned that money in the first place?
Interesting concept

[...] shows that prosecutors in the more than 1,000 criminal cases from Jan. 6, 2021, are increasingly asking judges to impose fines on top of prison sentences to offset donations from supporters of the Capitol riotersCan judges legally impose (higher) fines based upon the allegation of a prosecutor that the defendants have been given money from some otherwise uninvolved third party?!
And how can the prosecutors know what monies the defendants have received in their bank accounts, and from whom?! That's private!

They are not political prisoners but they have no rights granted to other Americans who bow down to the government. Not one court has stood up for their rights for a fair trial or against their unreasonable punishments. Now the government wants their money. Our government has become demons in business suits.

Just over 500 defendants have been sentenced for Jan. 6 crimesCrimes? These were mostly made up misdemeanors and coerced convictions. Where are the prosecutions for the fedsurrectionists?

Interesting that AP never ran a slam article on Antifa raking in the money. Nor did the DOJ come after them, either for jail or to confiscate the money they raked in.

This is theft as the money was not given to be turned over to Ceaser. It either belongs to those it was given to or else it needs to be returned to those who gave it.
