A furious female skateboarder has slammed Red Bull for sponsoring a contest where she placed second to her trans rival.
Taylor Silverman claims she and other cisgender female competitors were sidelined by officials at the Red Bull Cornerstone Contest, where she placed second and received a $2,750 award.
Trans skateboarder Lillian Gallagher was awarded $5,000 for placing first and winning two separate divisions - money that Silverman says should have been given to her.
Silverman, who has been skateboarding for 11 years, said when she tried to reach out to officials to 'do the right thing even if it's not the popular thing,
'I deserved to place first, be acknowledged for my win and get paid. I reached out to Redbull and was ignored. I am sick of being bullied into silence,' Silverman wrote in an Instagram post
The post has sparked an array of reactions, with users asking Silverman to have more empathy towards transgender women, while others have lashed out at her, telling her she simply needs to get better at skateboarding.
'I have been in three different contests with trans women, two of which I placed second.'
'At the last contest series i did for Redbull, I placed second. The trans competitor who won took $1,000 in qualifiers, $2,000 in finals and $1,000 in best trick.
'This totaled to $5,000 of the prize money meant for the female athletes.'
Silverman went on to add that she took a total of $2,750 and 'whoever would have placed third' lost the award due to the Gallagher's participation in the contest
Instagram users lashed out at Silverman, criticizing her skateboarding skills and insulting her performance.
'ALSO ITS CALLED WOMAN'S devison not the 'female ' devision genitalia doesn't play a part in the red bull comp,' user @skatescrum wrote

That’s how they do it. Now a female is a “cisgender female”, not just a female - they have to add a qualifier. In other words she’s just one of many types of females.
It makes me want to puke, the way they take over the language to make the abnormal normal and the normal abnormal... and we quietly go along with it.
What the hell does cisgender female even mean for crying out loud??
I’m glad the Girl-girls are starting to speak up, regardless of how unpopular it is with Milenials.
I just read another story of how a surfing contest for women has now been dominated with Transgenders winning most the prize money. Women athletes have the same level of pride that men athletes do. It’s a lot of hard work and discipline to get to their levels.
Taylor Silverman is bucking the trendy set and she is a cool skateboarder. But she should not use the term “trans woman”. She should call him a mentally ill man.

BMX and skateboarding have had a hard time gaining interest from women. Allowing men to compete against women will discourage them even more.
Of course, they won’t learn either of those things because they can’t allow themselves to acknowledge objective reality or else their entire worldview, based upon hatred of men and general leftist politics, falls apart.
She should sue to make this insanity stop.
I’ve wondered wtf this stupid word is, we don’t need to conform to their stupidity.
I once had a girlfriend who was extremely competitive and had some unresolved anger/aggression issues.
I encouraged her to join the local Roller Derby which she enjoyed very much.
I am glad this was before the whole Trans thing.
(although I think she or one of her friends might have accidentally skated on it’s balls in a horrible Freak accident)
So I guess under the new Leftist rules, women have to get used to shutting up and taking second place to their biological male betters.
Keep in mind “they” can only define or redefine if “we” let them. “They” will only be stopped when “we” stop them. Doesn’t seem that “we” are willing to actually do anything to stop “them” except expell hot air.
