Speaker Nancy Pelosi pushed back on Democrats calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump, even though she said the president “engaged in highly unethical and unscrupulous behavior which does not bring honor to the office he holds.”
Responding to calls from some of her members to impeach Trump for acts revealed Thursday in a redacted version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report, Pelosi said impeachment proceedings are not the only way to uncover the facts needed for Congress to hold Trump “accountable.”
Her “Dear Colleague” letter posted on Monday comes before a caucus-wide conference call with House Democrats to discuss her party’s response to the investigation of Russian influence in the 2016 presidential election. Pelosi conceded Democrats don’t all agree on what course they should take following the report’s release last week.

Whether they call the pointless harassment “impeachment investigation” or something else, it has the same effect - punishment by process, guilt by accusation and innuendo. It’s worked for Trump’s entire presidency, no reason it can’t work for the next 7 years.
They’d rather just keep hammering him...and the media will help....just as they’ve done all along.
Whatever Nancy wants, Nancy gets. The Dems play hardball. No impeachment.
The Commie left needs to keep up the impeachment farce til 2020 to give meat to their commie base..they are not going to impeach President Trump, but they will keep dangling it out there til 2020 and then they will say “Well its an election year, you can decide at the ballot box”
Pelosi knows any impeachment action would totally wreck the Dems already dubious chances of a win in 2020.
She knows full well a deep investigation of the fraudulent FISA authorization is underway.
That criminal investigation, the chaotic mess of communist candidates tumbling out of the Dem clown-car, added to a failed impeachment attempt, would all combine to shatter the Dem Party itself into unfixable fragments.
Pelosi has no choice--she must try to talk down her suicidal party from the cliff edge.
She’ll need a rabbi and a live chicken for THAT one!

mmmm yes, but LYING to America over and over by the previous administration, was perfectly ok, huh nancy? Their lies caused a man who made a video to spend time in prison- (benghazi issue) and the previous president’s behavior of lying and inciting violence on American citizens resulted in police officers being murdered in cold blood- but meh- none of that matters eh nancy?
I’m not sure how much of a functioning brain she has left, but she and her advisers together aren’t stupid.
Those committee chairs are seasoned politicians. They realize they have to make impeachment threat noises to please their base, ahead of elections. The inexperienced newer members are very serious about impeachment, but there are not enough of them to get the job done. If Nancy can hold her seat, the younger members don’t have a chance. But I’ll bet they are able to siphon off some votes.
Nancy Pelosi gave a company $700 million that her brother was on the board.
He own company has gotten 10’s of millions of taxpayer money. Deanne Feinstein has stolen nearly $2 billion.
Nothing ethical about them.
$3 obama gave himself $100 million of taxpayer money to his foundation. $100 million.
