The CNN and C-SPAN part of the bio is most impressive ... NOT.
Generational Theft Via Postfacto Laws.
Lets remember, the government can’t die, a corporation can’t die, yet a family who has lived in a location for generations has no rights.
I think ever family should have the right for protection from these tactics as long as they continue to live in the same location or in the same circumstances.
Tarnishing for who? The plebes who are looking for handouts? All that matters is people who love liberty have seen that the government cowers when Americans stand up to them. There’s no reason for lovers of liberty to moderate now. We don’t need to impress anyone. We have all the numbers we need.
This scrap book should be relegated to the scrap heap of history.
The WS is a DC elite rag and takes its marching orders from K Street.
I wonder if the Chinese were promised this land and the DC elites have ordered all these sad obvious Hit pieces which will justify some upcoming
action .
NO. Cliven Bundy is in the RIGHT!!
Is sending in military forces to collect on a fine tarnishing the obama tyranny?
Michael Warren of The Weekly Standard has written a very similar article here.
Egan and Warren have both inspired me.
There are NUMEROUS deadbeats involved in this story - oh, yes!
But they are deadbeat JOURNALISTS. Pretenders who fail to get the facts, but instead rely on the government pablum spoon-fed to them by the BLM and its brethren government bureaus.
Timothy Egan: deadbeat
Michael Warren: deadbeat
Bundy can't pay the BLM its grazing fees because he has to sign their contract before doing so. And the contract hands Bundy's business to the BLM.
This is why it's taken 20 years to get to this point. The BLM needs to jump through all the legal hoops to be able to jam the contract down Cliven Bundy's throat.
If the "journalists" weren't DEADBEATS, most people would know these things.
is that weakly?
It takes longer for some to realize what’s going on than others.
The Bostoners legally owed the tax on that tea too.
More sophistry and spin that won’t change my mind about anything.
This guy is a moron. Slavery used to be the law of the land. So conservatives should not opposed it because its the law of the land?
The supposedly friendly politicians and media are really showing their colors on this subject. When the “stuff” really hits the fan with protest against the tyrannical government, they all scatter. Their colors change to yellow real fast. Where’s the outcry against all that has come against the people of our country? Accept and modify? Is the frog getting cooked so slowly to them that it’s acceptable? Has it not hit them in their own back yard, yet?
“the moral power of civil disobedience lies in the willingness to defer to the law and accept punishment on principle.”
Also a good way to end up in a FEMA re-education camp. :-)
Bundy is no different that Hobby Lobby taking the Fed to court for what they consider to be an unconstitutional act on their part.
Is the “tea party” threatened because Hobby Lobby won’t just pay the darn abortion money?
What if Hobby Lobby loses and still refuses to pay the darn abortion money and starts getting fined and refuses to pay the fine?
Will the Commerce Department send armed agents to surround their stores and pick off their managers and cashiers?
Why should anyone care what that liberal rag publishes?
