” wasn’t in Hawaii until Spring of 1963.”

This, if I recall correctly, was when the pic of her and 0 at the zoo was taken..

We’d need those Polk directories for 1963-1964 also, to see what she called herself then....

You might need to ask Ladysforest if she has anything on Dunham or Obama listings after 1961.

There’s the link to what is on the blog:

You really must learn to use keywords and Google search for yourself.

Have you ever checked to see how Polk collected information? It was anything but scientifically or accurate. Sometimes they hired college students or housewives part time
sometimes they did mass mailing to all residents. They made their money by selling small ads or highliged names Those were accurate but information on names in the neighborhood may have come from phone calls or interviewing your neighbors. My parents have unusually names and always have been called they’re middle names. It was a running joke in our house to see the name of the people who resided at our house. Although we never moved the names frequently changed

Person on phone or neighbor says Ann. Employee writes Ann - Anne Annie or Anna. The choice was theirs. No nefarious act just sloppy work by Polk employee
