2nd link. Guy eventually becomes Roman Catholic. Does he have a relationship with the priest that gave Fuddy last rites?

I wonder why Fuddy’s priest didn’t discourage her involvement in Subud. She doesn’t appear to have kept her cult activities a secret.

Only if they all belonged to Subud, and members can be any religion they want to be and still belong to Subud. It's really nothing more than a cult built around the founder's religion of sufi islam and the phenomenon of 'transcedental meditation' popular in the sixties - some people just never grew out of it. The clue is in the word 'trance'. They 'transport' themselves into another state of consciousness and have out-of-this-world 'experiences' with their eyes closed sitting on a couch. It's ever so deep and meaningful...and hippy-happy...tripping without the aid of drugs.
Subud members call their 'trips' latihan
You may have heard of its western equivalent, out of body experience or astral travel
