I was thinking that too.

The secondhand descriptions said “OBL’s head wound.... huge wound above one eye; brain matter showing; other eye is completely gone.”

To me, that sounds like an EXIT WOUND. Or a couple exit wounds.

If you shoot someone point blank in the forehead, does it take half their head off (in front)? Wouldn’t the entry be small, while the exit wound (in back) is large?

One guy was shot in the chin, two guys tapped in the back of the head and UBL's described wound sounds like an exit wound. I don't think that the 12 year old would be able to identify a non-SEAL as such.
