Oh, and by the way, the question I asked was in response to someone who wondered why no clear pictures came out of a lot of sightings. I was responding to that other poster saying that I couldn’t even get clear pictures of ordinary airplanes in the sky, slow-moving blimps and I was trying... LOL...
It’s not quite like shooting some family photos of a BBQ in the backyard. Sky pictures just don’t turn out very well. Everything is far away and furthermore, when you put on the zoom, you can’t even hold the camera steady enough, and then a lot of cameras can’t focus well enough either.
But, when I look at the ordinary airplanes and blimps in the sky with my eyes, I can observe them quite well. It’s just my camera does not do as good as my eyes... (and that was a camera that cost around $600; not a bad one, mind you..., and digital, too).
