Is it just me or are the singers on that Grease Show, make the Idol singers sound like chimps?It's just you. Since the contestants have to sing, dance, and act, it usually follows that they don't do any ONE of those things very well...just well ENOUGH.
Some of the guys sing well, and yes, better that this years' crop of men on Idol, but not the girls. Ashley is OK, but the other two girls (especially Laura, who the judges like) sound very shrill to me. Maybe that's just the "Broadway" style voice I'm not used to.

On another site I was reading a thread from disgruntled mothers whose daughters were voting for Sanjaya for that very reason. They feel bad for him because Simon is "so mean to him."
