"ID" can be molded into a general concept -- albeit an unscientific one -- that has no inherent religious implications. Thus far, however, all ID movements are decidedly Christian in origin, and this includes the push in the Dover school board. The judge didn't make his ruling in a vacuum; he heard testimony from witnesses who said that the board was flat-out pushing Christianity.
So how is this ruling an establishment of atheism?
