I disagree entirely with your analysis. In practice these seemingly fair rules are not equitably applied, giving an unfair result. Having seen these same types of reasonable guidelines before from the liberals, and then the result that they are applied
only where a conservative says something a liberal doesn't like, the abstract fairness of the guidelines is moot. And, having seen that such guidelines are regularly implemented with this as the intended result, it is reasonable to suspect that these guidelines, too, will be adjudicated in the same way.
To prove this I point to my removed comment #2, and the many, many ad hominem attacks against me on this thread that were not removed.

This is like a different place lately. That is the bottom line of that thread and now we seek to return FR to the tone we've all come to know and cherish.

Oh, by the way, I have not called anyone on this thread either "pro-death" or "Nazi". The "Good Germans" weren't Nazis, they were the average volk who went along to get along and didn't raise a stink about the stink of burning bodies.

So screw them all. The only one who should matter is Terri, but instead the poor woman has to suffer while everyone who claims to love her argues over "who's right"... See while I understand your line of reasoning, all I am saying is that as a Country, we should start seeing exactly how far we have let the courts go into becoming a monster we may not be able to deal with.
There is no reason, in fact it flies in the face of wisdom that there was no reason to have the courts bring in its own (and thus independent) experts, so that a repsonsible decision could have been made.
Instead we have a Probate court judge with acting dubiously at best, and a Federal Court ignoring the law of the land because it feels like it, while someone lay dying....

Your comments are reprehensible.Which?

I believe you laid that out most correctly.
There that huge Paper-wasp nest was just hanging there, minding it's own business, and ... whack!
Last thing I heard was screaming and hollering as the whole right side of the aisle ran for the lake. ;)

There was certainly a breakdown, Chad.
I think Bob Schindler losing his mom had something to do with it as well. Whether it was over money or control, there was a breakdown in a family, and a conflict between two determined people.
But when these types of cases make the news, there almost always is a family breakdown.
And it's sad to see, like a custody fight in a bitter divorce.

Yeah, speaking of judicial activism, how, I wonder, did that perennial concern just totally disappear from the minds of the rational, the logical, and the sane?Yup.

Great post, Chad. I'd only add that the supreme reason this case reached the levels it did was because of Randall Terry and some other political parasites who sold the Schindlers a false bill of goods.

I think YOU are inhumane. I see those who don't mind torturing poor innocents as more inhumane than those who are willing to put a bullet in their head. Are all diabled persons "living death", as you call it?
Where do you draw that line?
