Yes, I'm sure poor Michael Schiavo grieves terribly as he spends that $1.5 miliion-dollar settlement, caresses his shack-up honey, and plans his next getaway to the Bahamas. I just weep for him.
You have this single issue that to you is the be all and end all of existence. Well ... it isnt. Not to 70% of Amarica and not to God Almighty.
Life and death...such a pesky, trivial little matter. Wiull you be repeating that the day "they" come for you? Oh, and I just love how you speak on behalf of God Almighty, too. You know, the One Who said "Thou shalt not KILL"?
Thank Him you are the powerless minority you are and now cemented into that position for decades to come.
No, the powerless minority are the Terris that we speak for--the "least of these My brethren".
My Cause ?????
I thought Imperious Judges was one of our Collective causes?
She shouldnt be giving her all. Her case should be being examined anew, as Congress Legislated.
Why not? We've been hearing for weeks what "Terri wants," even though she's been incapable of sharing her thoughts for years. There's so much channelling and mindreading going on, sometimes I think I've tuned into an episode of "Crossing Over" or "Medium."
Nearly 350 posts and nobody wants to discuss the merits of euthanasia. Still waiting...
I am not against judicial reform.
I also think the Schindlers were outlawyered. Do you think there is a way to equitably protect people against the fact that some lawyers are better than others? (not a sarcastic remark. I wonder how they would have done with a lawyer as good as Johnny Cochrane, for instance.)
How've you been?
But didn't you get the memo? Autopsy results showing anything other than - (1) a completely functional cerebral cortex suffering only from years of neglectful abuse and lack of rehab and (2) severe skeletal trauma matching perfectly in size and shape a one-of-a-kind custom baseball bat owned by Michael Schiavo - is obviously the result of the medical examiner and George Greer splitting up the proceeds of a ponzi scheme run by Felos.
Perhaps some of those Congress critters will get in their respective bunkers and shut up for a while.
Oh, boy...if you have time, go here and start reading at post #60...

Thanks! We managed a Pubbie governor this time (only because the Dem candidate was a really ditzy Kennedy cousin) but he is having a really hard time accomplishing much because of the overwhelming percentage of Dems in the legislature.
I have been in the other SBR Terri thread for a while because I am interested in facts rather than shrill ranting that is everywhere on the main board. Thank you to everyone in the WPPFF for providing good information and patiently answering my occasional dumb question.
Did someone say injuns? I'm an injun. Darn those Feds. They get into everybody's life and culture. So we can't torture or take scalps anymore.
But it is interesting to hear the viewpoints from other cultures.
The pro-Terri forces got what they wanted...another court reviewing the case. It didn't go quite how they wanted.
Tell me, would ANY result other than an order to reinsert the feeding tube have been acceptable? If you wanted a pre-ordained result, why even have courts?
Such would have been a Kangaroo court.
That very same thing bothers me deeply. How do we prevent people from simply buying the result they want out of the judicial system?
If this is a witness protection program for us sane freepers, are you supplying new aliases?
And I can find article that debunk a lot of that. What's so interesting is to hear the so called neurologists and other doctors who say they've reviewed the records and who claim that a PVS condition cannot be diagnosed without an MRI but they seem unaware that Terri had experimental surgery to stimulate brain activity.
She had electrodes implanted in her brain; the older kind of electrodes they used in the early 90's make her ineligible for an MRI.
Voice activated keyboard. Got one?
Now this is rich. Next you'll be saying that God told Michael Schiavo, George Feros, and Judge Greer to let Terri die.
Many who disapprove of withdrawing feeding tubes from patients who are not terminally ill still disapprove of the hysteria, hyperbole, false accusations, meanspiritedness, unchristian attitudes and hatefulness expressed on other Terri Schiavo-related threads. Your comments are reprehensible.
