That's because her opposition was very well funded too. It's when the other side can't afford a good attorney that the opportunity to buy a verdict exists.
When a guardian is sued in his role as guardian for anything execpt malfeasance doesn't the estate pay the legal fees?
Did you see the posts we printed out to Neet's link regarding that matter? They advertise it on the web page...that you can buy the video.
I didn't make the assertion based on the premise of fact in the manifesto that there is a flat EEG for Mrs. Schiavo. If you can't back it up, then I must doubt the assertion.
Don't jump the gun, Thoughtomater. Admin Mod just hasn't gotten to my posts yet, so chill :)
We're in the section called the Smokey Back Room. The other side is the regular news section where we used to be able to post without being called sweet little nothings like murderer, Nazi, etc.
Isn't a flat EEG inconsistent with a diagnosis of PVS?
Are you kidding!!!
Thanks. I was going hunting for Trinity's screen name so I could check her profile for links, but can't remember exactly how she spells it. Trinity_TX? It was the good Dr. Hammesfahr, the Nobel Prize Nominated neurologist I heard saying that, and I've heard at least a couple of talk show hosts repeating that as if it were the Gospel. I'm disappointed in them, frankly. Seems that they didn't do any research themselves.
You have to have a bone scan to suspect abuse? These families were close before Terri's collapse. No one noticed that she kept turning up with fractures??? Sure.
Wow. You are something else. What a closed mind.
You do realize that the Schindlers have fund raised throughout this and will not disclose how much money they've raised or where the money has gone?
MS got $300,000 out of the malpractice suit. I imagine that was used up long ago in attorneys and I also would bet the Schindlers have collected far more than that especially with their links with Randall Terry and the pro life movement which traditionally is very generous with donations.
Oh. That's how it works. Okay.
Do you think it was government interference? I don't. Congress didn't order a specific outcome, they simply allowed the case to be heard in a Federal court.
No, I missed it.
I've been out shopping most of the day.
If you have link, please
send in FR mail. I'll pass
to Hildy in *e* --- I did
talk to her just now...lol.
I saw far too many hopeless cases, after lengthy rehab and therapy, walk back into our unit to thank us for our care.
He spent $400k of Terri's settlement money on Felos.
That's because most of us here want Terri to live, genius.
You spelled it correctly.
Yes. The SChindler's doctor, Dr. H., advertises in the National Inquirer. Insurance companies won't work with him. He claims to have a Nobel prize nomination but couldn't produce it for the court.
He claimed he could treat patients like Terri but when asked for the information on ONE single patient he has treated like Terri, he couldn't do it.
The other Schindler doctor, I've forgotten his name, didn't know the difference between a coma and PVS.
A flat EEG is one of the indications considered for determination of brain death.
