I prefer the Golden Rule and the libertarian/objectivist non-initiation of force doctrine.

It works, generally. Although I think that the objectivist doctrine is occasionally misrepresented. It's in one of Ayn's books, (oh how that woman needed an editor) and I was rather surprised to find that what she actually said was not the current philosophy of the libertarian/objectivist movement.

Go figure.
