Heh heh!
Anything with beer as one of the ingredients is usually pretty good. I never use white potatos for anything, preferring the smoother texture of reds. But I also kick the potato soup with canned milk...(don't tell my mother I said that, OK?)
The beer one is pretty good :) I like red potatoes with certain things, like Corned beef and cabbage. Like white potatoes for mashing.
