Hey... at least your house is showing. I think we've had one in the past week. First week listed, that ain't good.
"Just sitting around, drinking beer, trying not to think of real estate.
( house got showed again today...)
Mostly, I have been REALLY REALLY bad and have blown off most of the day, inbetween loads of laundry and making a pot of stew."
WOW! I blow off a lot of days. I have no life. But yes, I'm sitting at the PC and thinking how the mini-mart on the corner HAS to sell the coldest beer in town. My hands ache by the time I take a couple of cans to the check-out...
(I wonder what it would be like to have a real life...?)
The Kid will be home soon, and we will do homework, eat stew and then watch "Simpsons" and "King of the Hill".
Hope the article goes well.
Do you make your soup with cheese?
Kerry has a plan again to get along better with the world. Oyi!
I've been doing this solidly for four months.
Mine has been shown, but like i said, i lost 6 weeks screwing around with dead-beat buyers.
And winter's coming and that esentially shuts down the season up here.
Still, Luck to you!
"A pot of stew sounds good! I'm about to have potato soup myself."
Ummmm! Now THAT sounds good! I make my own as the canned stuff is WAY too salty. I use a slice of cut-up bacon, and also used instant mashed potatos for the thickening. The rest is a family secret!
I'm just reheating some from last night and I wasn't going to put cheese in it, but that's a good idea! I have some shredded cheese I think I'll toss in.
"Simpsons" and "King of the Hill" are good :) How many kids do you have then?

Cheese is GREAT in potato soup.
If I can find the right box, i will send you my recipe for PotatoCheese Beer Soup.
GREAT in front of a roaring fire in the dead of winter.
Only have the one Kid.
Tried hard for more.
Bad stuff.
Have HER, she's my Wealth and the Light of my life!
Nope...can't do that...as it is, I have to put a jacket or sweater on whenever I go into public buildings...can't handle the 68 degrees they insist on keeping the temp.
I just don't like humidity...desert born and raised...
*wide eyed nodding with vigor*
She makes me feel like HIDING when she speaks.
Did you just get here? WOW! Dead Corpse hit the 30,000 last night! Champage corks were popping all over the place..!
Yeah, I'm using my Mom's Irish family recipe, which is way better than canned. It has a bunch of variations, actually. One of the more interesting involves adding Guinness :)
Heh heh!
Anything with beer as one of the ingredients is usually pretty good. I never use white potatos for anything, preferring the smoother texture of reds. But I also kick the potato soup with canned milk...(don't tell my mother I said that, OK?)
Yeah....unfortunately I didnt come into work on time (I worked late and was allowed to sleep late)...
I was amazed I could still hit the thread...
Thanks!
LOL!
Yeah.
I know.
It's almost too funny to state.. and hporrible to contemplate.
But if Kerry had the top spot, he'd hand himself over as a hostage to the terrorists.
And you know what would happen.
We'd have Edwards in the top spot then, getting his guidance from the 'imaginary spirits' of aborted babies as he channels them during cabinet meetings.
The reality of what a Kerry administration would be.
*shudder*
UNNNGH!
My one-hour teleconference ran two hours. But things went well, in the end.
