OOH! Pinky and the Brain!
Goodnight!
"Pinky and the Brain"? Is this something on network teevee?
Drat. Gotta go -- activity related to another ping list calls...
"I don't know how many times I've have to re-purchase coppies of "Hitchhiker's Guide." No one ever gives it back. :-("
Golly...If someone asked me for MY copy, I'd have to tell them to take a hike without it...something about the title...
I wouldn't mess with that KIT TAY!!
"15% to the starboard side, matey."
I can see there are some barnacles on your binoculars, MATEY.
(Darkshere...take care of my light work here and warn this person of the Twin Orbs Of Power...)
ROFL! Colonel Mustard :) Reminds me of the times I threw Warner Brothers characters into the campaign based on an issue of "Dragon" that gave their stats. The Tasmanian Devil was hard to fight! Also threw in Godzilla once. And then sometimes I'd turn our teachers from school into NPCs--for instance, our science teacher became an alchemist :)
It sounds like your campaigns had pretty involved "plots". Mine didn't have much on the romance or mystery sides, more on the intrigue and war sides. I did have a long-term backstory that slowly unfolded over many adventures. In between adventures I'd conduct my own off-scene wars and things that were going on during the characters' adventures unknown to them. As things developed I'd go back and reinterpret earlier events and explain what "really" happened that the characters weren't aware of at the time. That was one of the most challenging and fun parts.
I miss having time to rpg, LOL!
OK, OK: if they're good (and have very nice tatas) 18% is better.
What are we going to do tonight, Pinky? :)
If the lyrics don't fit, you must acquit!
I had a TERRIBLE time thinking up names... SO Colonel Mustard!
I also had Mark Twain, Thomas Edison, and Teddy Roosevelt later on.
( As i am sure you are aware, Mr. Edison invented one of the very FIRST Aether Flyers, certainly the first one with an American patent!)
Samuel Clemens, AKA Mark Twain, did a lecture series at the American Colony of Moreus Laucus on Mars, right off the banks of the Grand Canal...
"Can't SEE them when i take them OFF!"
No one seems to understand that if I don't have my glasses ON, I can't find them without having them ON!!! SHEESH!
That's why I own two pair, and have trained Caitlin to "Find Mommy's Glasses".
Since i have a terrible tendancy to take the bloody things off and forget where i put them!
Same thing we do everynight!
Try and take over the world!
( I stuffed her in, I got side-tracked)
I don't have that problem. My only (real) need is to focus up close. But I'm good at finding the goodwife's glasses when she loses them.
"Are you pondering what I'm pondering, Pinky? "
"I THINK so Brain, but isn't Regis Philbin already married?"
You're a good person.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Pinky?"
"Narf! I think so, Brain; but if they called them 'Sad Meals', no one would buy them!"
"I had a TERRIBLE time thinking up names"
I usually just stole them from Tolkien or someone else I was reading at the time :)
Twain and Edison and Roosevelt?! You must've had some time travel in your campaign :)
LOL!
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Pinky?"
I think so, Brain, but how do we get the chicken to wear the rubber pants? "
