Posters here have, on more than one occasion, said in this and other threads, that the issue / principle here is "not your right to die." That phraseology is misleading, inflammatory, and insulting, albeit somewhat less so than references to murder, killing, starving, etc.
Simply stated, the issue is about ones right not to be artificially sustained in an unbearable and/or undignified condition for an extended period against ones wishes when the condition precludes reasonable chance of recovery to an acceptable condition.
Note that key words in that more proper definition of the issue are "artificial" and "ones wishes."
For further clarity, I've not said that anything should be done against ones wishes. Ergo, one should have the opposite of the above right. That being a right to be artificially sustained in an unbearable and/or undignified condition for an extended period if one wishes.

Lest you feel compelled to comment about me continuing to post on a matter about which I said I would no long post, and since you have a tendency to misinterpret many, many things: I'm compelled to point out that the above is a discussion of my rights and others rights in general. It is not a discussion of "Terri's" rights.
Further, you have inaccurately described the purpose of this thread repeatedly, a thread that I initiated to apologize to a few posters. You have repeatedly tried to turn it into a discussion of the 'save Terri' issue. I did not initiate it for that purpose and I've tried to rebuff your and others attempts to turn it into such a discussion, even before I decided to cease discussing the 'save Terri' issues in other threads at this site.
Also, as I've said above, I'm open to private discussion of the 'save Terri' issue and have issued an invitation to any and all to join such a discussion. You have elected to not take me up on that invitation, but rather you continued to try to goad me into discussing that mater here.
As to your implying that I have posted at this site using another screen name, as usual, you are simply wrong. I have never used another screen name at this site since registering here over five years ago. In fact, I've been very careful at other similar sites to use the NAL screen name, or even NAL_FR, or FR_NAL, so that posters here who go to such sites know who I am. Unlike many others here (possibly you included?) who use / have used other screen names, I've no interest in deceiving anyone in that game-playing way.
And, I'm aware that Jim Rob has the means to detect multiple user-ID posters, via IP address, etc. in most cases. Therefor, given your wild accusation (something that I have observed that you are prone to do on a very wide variety of subjects) in this regard, I'd welcome a review by Jim Rob and/or the moderators here of whether or not I've ever used another screen name here. Would you welcome such a review of your activities as well?
Finally, I'm very comfortable here with letting others judge by reviewing this entire thread just which one of us is lacking self control.

While your unwarranted and inaccurate accusation (re dual screen name use) is insulting, I must say that I would be proud to have been the one to make most of those posts. In fact, it appears that 'saveterri1' has posted the greatest volume of factual information on that subject of any poster at this site, myself included. The problems and issues here might greatly subside if you and various other posters in those threads were to acquire even half the level of accurate knowledge of the subject as 'saveterri1' apparently has.
