In this short video, VDH discusses the lies that the Democrats are selling that are destroying the economy, the middle class, the military and the moral fabric of America.

According to a new report by analysts at JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Waren Buffett’s holding company, Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A/BRK.B), controls 3% of the entire Treasury Bill market. Buffett now has $158 billion U.S. invested in Treasury Bills, or T-bills as they are known. A T-bill is a short-term debt obligation backed by the U.S. Treasury Department with a maturity of one-year or less. Interest is paid on T-bills when they mature or expire. With interest rates elevated, T-bills are currently paying interest of between 5% and 6%, depending on the length of time to maturity. Buffett has said that he favors...

Working with the AI bot Claude is, in no particular order, amazing, frustrating, and hilarious. On the one hand, when “he” gets things right, the knowledge base is beyond staggering. (Yes, I know I’m dealing with an “it,” but Claude has so much personality that I’ll stay with “he.”) I asked Claude some questions from my wife Nancy about types of soil, and Claude responded in massive accurate detail, as confirmed by Nancy, who is quite expert in landscaping related issues. I then asked Claude to translate his answers into Mandarin Chinese, which he did instantly, although I couldn’t verify...

Going back to Carter, the Democrats never grasp that, if you negotiate with hostage-takers, you get more hostages. In Joe Biden’s proposed agreement to end The Israeli Military Offensive (and Defensive) actions, he puts releasing the hostages as the third stage in his preferred sequences of events. For Biden, now and before October 7, 2023, releasing the hostages has been a very low priority. Evidently, terrorist activities are rewarded, not punished. When the world was stable (before Joe Biden), Western nations, including America, understood that negotiating with terrorists was not an option. The reason for this rule of thumb is...

... you'll be voting for your own shackles. If, in a fair and free election (snort, giggle), the American people return Joe Biden to the White House, they will have voted themselves into shackles, elected to eliminate their freedoms and liberty, and chosen to live as cattle on the government’s ranch … an act perhaps without precedent in human history. If you vote for the current president who is trying to destroy a former president for far lesser offenses than he himself has committed, you are a hypocrite. If you vote for the man who is currently attempting to imprison...

The patient died of sepsis caused from a combination of chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and arterial hypertension over the past 14 years. Greetings from the lovely city of Bologna, Italy. I am taking a few moments from my European tour to report on an important update to the bird flu story that was breaking as I left the country: A man in Mexico had died of a new strain of avian influenza. A new strain of bird flu has jumped to humans in an event that has ‘potential for high public health impact’, the World Health Organization has warned. Officials...

The special prosecutor’s overreach and the trial judge’s open bias are equally disturbing. Just when you thought the “swamp” judicial system could sink no lower, an Elon Musk-X petition to the Supreme Court reminds us about Jack Smith’s and a leftist judge’s complete disrespect for Americans’ constitutional freedom from intrusive government searches. The information emerges in X Corp.’s petition for a writ of certiorari relating to a court order arising from a search warrant that special counsel, Mr. Jack Smith (yes, that one), served on X demanding data and records from former President Donald Trump’s Twitter account. The problem from...

Based on the information available, the doctor probably didn’t do anything wrong, but that’s irrelevant when you’re terrorizing political opponents. Two years ago, Texas Children’s Hospital (“TCH”) publicly announced that it would no longer use drugs and hormones and mutilating surgery to “transform” kids into broken simulacrums of the opposite sex. Dr. Eithan Haim, a surgeon, exposed that as a lie. Now, via some serious FBI intimidation, Dr. Haim finds himself facing four felony charges that could lead to ten years in prison. Reviewing the regulations he is alleged to have violated, though, indicates that this is Stasi-like terrorism, not...

Four innocent hostages brought home, and a legal blow against presumptuous government action. In a daring feat masterfully executed, the Israeli Defense Force rescued four of the hostages in Gaza. Most touching of all was the rescue of Noa Argamani, whose mother is dying of brain cancer, who had prayed she’d be reunited with her daughter before she died. The hostages had been held by private citizens in two separate apartments 200 feet apart within the central market of Nuseirat in Gaza and the rescuers had to stage a difficult simultaneous operation to free them. They operated under heavy fire...

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Former President Donald Trump will make an Orange County visit on Saturday, June 8, and residents can expect road closures and traffic delays on Newport Beach's Harbor Island as a result. Bayside Drive, from Jamboree Road to Pacific Coast Highway, will be closed to motorists from 7 a.m. to around 3 p.m. on Saturday, according to city officials.

A Brooklyn immigrant’s $4 million nest egg is off-limits when she needs it most during her final years because of ineffective court-appointed guardians, her family contends. Aleksandra Chodowiec, 93, arrived in the U.S. from her native Wroclaw in western Poland by herself in 1973 at the age of 43. She worked two jobs, in an envelope factory and cleaning Manhattan offices. In just two years, the industrious Chodowiec saved enough dough to purchase what should have been a golden ticket: a five-story rental building with eight apartments and two commercial units in Greenpoint.

Assembly Member Emily Gallagher (D-Brooklyn) hates cars — except her own. The upstate-transplant socialist and “safe streets” lover has notched at least 46 (!!!) tickets these past 2½ years, for a total of more than $4,000. Turns out the white Buick of this tatted tribune of the people was caught illegally blocking fire hydrants.. Power to the workers! Unless their building’s on fire, in which case: Screw ’em. Far worse, the Rochester-reared revolutionary’s car has ripped through at least one red light — in The Bronx, a borough that’s almost 90% people of color. Guess black lives DON’T matter when...

The first thing to say about the Democratic lawfare campaign against former President Donald Trump is that it has been a smashing success. With help from a senior Biden Justice Department official and a Biden-donor judge, Manhattan Democratic District Attorney Alvin Bragg set out to convict the former president on 34 felony counts and ended up convicting the former president on 34 felony counts. By any measure, that is a triumph for a prosecutor — and his party. Now, though, comes the task of converting a win in court into a win in the presidential election, which has always been...

We often hear about “bullet proof” vests. TV/movie good guys shot while wearing one immediately fall to the ground, breathless and momentarily incapacitated, even though the bullet did not penetrate the vest. Dramatic, but mostly nonsensical. There is no such thing as a “bullet proof” vest, merely vests designed to be bullet resistant, capable, depending on design, of stopping some, but not all, cartridges. The vests worn by these US troops, for example, are commonly rated to stop the usual rifle caliber cartridges of known enemies. However, they are heavy, hot and somewhat restrict movement. Graphic: Pfc. Ty Correll provides...

Conservative media provide innumerable examples of Democrats shamelessly exhibiting hypocrisy and engaging in psychological projection — the habit of ascribing Democrats’ behaviors to conservatives (e.g., Trump and the GOP are guilty of engaging in lawfare and election interference, destroying democracy). In trying to understand the shambolic, emotion-driven mentality of Democrats, it is noteworthy that psychological displacement is also a prominent feature of the progressive mindset. In psychology, displacement is when a person takes a negative emotion (anger, frustration) and redirects the emotion from its original source to a less threatening recipient. An example of displacement would be a work supervisor...

This spring was the most active severe weather season since 2011 with more than 1,000 twisters reported across the country. However, a change is on the horizon that will transform the severe weather dangers heading into the dog days of summer. "[We're] going to see disturbances coming down from the northern Rockies and through the northern Plains and into the Midwest," AccuWeather Long Range Expert Joe Lundberg said. "We think this is the most likely area to get thunderstorms." This corridor of storms will threaten Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Minneapolis and Cincinnati. Some of the damaging thunderstorms may even blow...

Over the past two weeks, one of the biggest culture war conversations in America has had absolutely nothing to do with Donald Trump, Joe Biden or the 2024 elections. Instead, it’s centered on, of all things, the WNBA. The discourse around Caitlin Clark, the Iowa phenom who won rookie of the month in May, has run the gamut of everything wrong with how we argue today — injecting racism, sexism, talk of “pretty privilege” and allegations of “assault” for hard fouls. Most non-sports commentators writing and discussing Clark’s controversial entry into the pros have never had an opinion about basketball...
