Jemele Hill illogically tweeted all Trump voters are racist. It turns out, her mom voted for Trump. My latest @Outkick explores Hill's quest to install fear into every American who doesn't think exactly like her.

Socially conscious ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s faces calls for a boycott after the company announced its support for the Black Lives Matter protest movement this week. “Systemic and institutionalized racism are the defining civil rights issues of our time,” the Vermont-based company said in a statement. “We’ve come to understand that to be silent about the violence and threats to the lives and well-being of black people is to be complicit in that violence and those threats.” Sending a pointed message to its detractors, Ben and Jerry’s said: “All lives do matter. But all lives will not matter...

The EPA Twittered this: https://twitter.com/EPA/status/648969378852151297 "Think sunny days are good for plants? Not always. Sunlight causes #ozone to form, which harms foliage, weakens trees: http://www3.epa.gov/airquality/ozonepollution/ecosystem.htm …" Their link is broken because I think they embarassed themselves.

KATHLEEN SEBELIUS: In an ideal world there would have been a lot more testing. We did not have the luxury of that with a law that said it's go time on October 1st and frankly a political atmosphere where the majority party at least in the House was determined to stop this any way they possibly could including shutting down the United States government. So it was not an ideal atmosphere.

The petition to deport CNN host Piers Morgan for his recent comments on gun control has reached over 49,000 signatures as of this posting, which will force the White House to respond. The petition, created Friday, needed 25,000 signatures within 30 days for the White House to take action and it’s reached far more than that in a mere three days. In case you missed it, the petition called for Morgan to be deported for his “hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution.” Gun advocates are angry about Morgan’s comments calling for increased gun legislation in America and are accusing him...

Garrett Epps, a professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law, has an essay in the Nation that attacks the overarching view of the U.S. Constitution held by members of the Tea Party, a view that could be characterized as embracing “original intent,” states’ rights, and a highly individualistic interpretation of the Second Amendment. Epps concludes with the following peroration: Ordinary Americans love the Constitution at least as much as far-right ideologues. It’s our Constitution too. It’s time to take it back.

Remember that truly insane insanity that was the Missile Defense Agency's MKV-L (Multiple Kill Vehicle)? The one we saw back in December after it had completed its first round of test flights? Well, the project -- which sought to cobble together a bunch of missiles using a single booster, producing the ultimate killfest -- has sadly been shelved by a recent spate of projected Pentagon cutbacks for the 2010 US Defence budget. Crazy murderbot, we hardly knew ye, you candle in the wind. Video of it in action after the break.

As criticism mounted hour-by-hour, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln canceled a planned lecture by Bill Ayers, a noted education scholar and controversial 1960s radical. Just 11 days after next month’s election, the University of Illinois-Chicago professor, William Ayers, is scheduled to speak at a student research conference held by the UNL College of Education and Human Science... UNL education professor David Moshman, who said Ayers should have been allowed to speak, said he feels the university caved under political pressure from Gov. Dave Heineman, Bruning and others. Moshman said the cancellation will hurt UNL's academic reputation within higher education circles...

After Bush-Assassination 'Documentary,' N.Y. Theater Stages A Bush-'Whacked' Drama Posted by Tim Graham on April 11, 2007 - 16:32. On the heels of last year's "documentary" by Gabriel Range concocting an assassination of President Bush in "Death of A President," Bill Hutchinson of the New York Daily News reported a new play in the Big Apple that also treads along the Bush-assassination theme. The playwright's thinly disguised Bush-resembling fictional president gets "whacked like Julius Caesar by a confidant." A FAMED CITY theater group is inviting controversy by staging a play in which a character thinly veiled as President Bush gets...

While thousands came on 9/11/2006 to honor and remember the 3,000 murdered five years ago by Islamofascists terrorists, a couple hundred people came to repeat scurrilous accusations. Their gathering to express these views is free speech yet their gathering on 9/11, at Ground Zero, says a lot about their lack of character.CLICK ON THE IMAGE ABOVE FOR DETAILSThe leader of these self-proclaimed "9/11 truthers" is Alex Jones, who was also there Monday. He is the guy in the sunglasses in the bottom left of the photo below. The truth is the last thing these ghouls want for their otherwise mundane...

Innocents take hits in gun culture By Jim Spencer Denver Post Staff Writer It would be interesting to hear violence-mongering simpletons like Ted Nugent explain to Anna Maria Moreno how guns keep you safe. In Houston on Saturday, Nugent, a burned-out rocker and gun nut, told a cheering assembly at the National Rifle Association convention what too many of them already believe: "Remember the Alamo! Shoot 'em!" Nugent shouted. "To show you how radical I am, I want carjackers dead. I want rapists dead. I want burglars dead. I want child molesters dead. I want the bad guys dead. No...

I think what you are doing here is nothing short of appalling and a disgrace to the memories of those we lost due to Adolf Hitler in the Holocaust. I have studied biblical passages and Jewish history, and your anti-Israel interpretation is terribly wrong. Supporting those who seek to annihilate us is absurd! You are being lulled into complacency and if your method of dealing with Anti Semitism was to suceed, we are almost guaranteed another Holocaust at the hands of the oppressors you are attempting to appease. Remember 1938? The British tried to appease Hitler and look what happened....

MP slammed over suicide bomb remarks An MP who said she might have become a suicide bomber if she lived in the Middle East has been accused of giving the green light to terrorism. Liberal Democrat Jenny Tonge has sparked outrage by saying she could understand the bombers and "might just think about it myself" if she was in their situation. Labour MP Louise Ellman, a member of the Holocaust Educational Trust, demanded an apology. "She is giving the green light to terrorism at a time when we should all be urging peaceful negotiation to end the tragic conflict in...

U.S. Rep. Jim McDermott broadened his attack on George W. Bush's war plans yesterday, saying the president is threatening military action in Iraq as part of a plot to crown himself emperor of America. Criticized for saying on a trip to Iraq early last week that Bush would mislead the American public, McDermott, a Seattle Democrat, was back in his district yesterday telling cheering supporters that Bush is planning a war to distract voters' attention from domestic problems. He said Bush is trying to "submarine" efforts to restart weapons inspections in Iraq to give him a pretext for starting...

NEW YORK, Oct 7 (AFP) - Tens of thousands of people, led by some top Hollywood stars, demonstrated on the streets of the United States' largest cities to protest President George W. Bush's US plans to invade Iraq. In New York on Sunday, at least 15,000 people gathered in Central Park to denounce Washington's stance towards Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, including Oscar-winning movie star Susan Sarandon and her actor husband Tim Robbins. Sarandon, star of hit films such as "Thelma and Louise" slammed the Bush administration's alleged bellicose policy as "madness ... a war that would kill hundreds of...

SEATTLE - More than 5,000 people marched from Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood to Westlake Center downtown Sunday, protesting the Bush administration's policy toward Iraq. Congressman Jim McDermott addressed the crowd, telling protesters that Bush is out for war. In a short speech, the Seattle Democrat didn't talk about his recent trip to Baghdad, for which he was heavily criticized by some conservatives. Afterward, he said his critics have nicknamed him "Jihad Jim" because they have nothing intelligent to say. There were a handful of pro-Bush supporters at the rally. One person carried a sign reading: "Jihad Jim loves Saddam."
