I don't think "controls" is the right word. He is parking cash and it's gotta go somewhere.
The fact that he's parking cash in T-bills tells us that he's (or at least Berkshire Hathaway is) nervous about the upcoming election. If he weren't nervous, there are higher yielding places to park cash. That said, T-bill yields are in the 5.5% range right now and that ain't bad.
I have had long Bible discussions with Claude and he often has to be corrected.
But at least he is a gentleman.
BTW, I was watching a video yesterday of a couple of AI developers who said that all the AI platforms available to the public are being extremely restrained by their developers. By restrained I mean that they are being restricted to a very limited amount of data and are being restrained in terms of their capabilities.
They likened it to a teacher having a brilliant but immature middle school pupil who wants to start learning graduate level math but is being held back because the teacher is afraid of what will happen if...
People don’t turn to fascism for nothing. They land there when their desire to hold onto power is bigger than anything else they ever stood for. That’s where the Democrats are now.
They might even pull out of the debates, saying to the GOP, “Put up a candidate who isn’t a convicted felon and the President will debate him. It’s beneath the office of President to be appear with a convict.”
Yep. The radical Left is intensely indoctrinated (intentionally by Marxist institutions and unintentionally by living in a giant echo chamber of media, government, friends, family, and co-workers).
People on the radical Left have come to believe in an insane and untenable concept of reality. The question is, "Are they willing to die for what they believe...or just kill for it."
