I gotta go with Jackie Kennedy for my favorite. I always liked her, sweet and poised, fashionable and young.I don't disagree but when came to class and elegance, no first lady comes close to Melania Trump.

The Dems SAVAGED Mamie Eisenhower, in a whispering campaign, claiming that she was a "closet drunk", when Ike ran the first time.
So their going after poor Melania ( and they are STILL doing it ) is nothing new.
OTOH...our side ( before there was a GOP ), savagely went after Jackson's wife...claiming that she was an adultress, a low class female who smoked a pipe ( she DID smoke a pipe ), and far worse!

Yes, she was a marvelous First Lady and introduced an early form of ice cream, at her dinner parties.

Perhaps the best First Lady was Mrs. James Buchanan.
(it’ll come to ya)
That’s why she was the best.

What about Mamie Eisenhower, Bess Truman, and Eleanor Roosevelt? Also Grace Coolidge and Lou Hoover

Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. Nixon were heavy smokers.

Big Mike was far and away the worst. Jill Biden is a close second.

Don’t doubt this at all. Mrs. Reagan and the two Mrs. Bushes were liberals.

mooooochelle by far the worst

I don’t think I’ve heard of mooch ever killing anyone. There’s no way to know how many murders Hillary is responsible for.

I liked Barbara Bush. If only for her sense of humor.
I know 3 folks (2 Rs,1 D) that either worked in the WH or on Air Force 1 through multiple Presidents, all of them said Barbara Bush was a joy to be around. Also, they said Melania was very down to earth and polite. Worst, by far in their opinion, was Hillary.

“I gotta go with Jackie Kennedy for my favorite.”
Considering all the obstacles that poor woman faced, she was indeed grace under pressure. The extended Kennedy clan HATED her (especially Ethel, RFK’s wife: Probably jealousy). Both Old Joe and Rose didn’t think Jackie was good enough for their boy; and the sisters were none too complimentary, either. The Kennedy clan can best be described as a battery of barracuda.

Jack was shot up every day with a dope "cocktail, by Dr. FEELGOOD. He did have severe pain, but that was just part of it.
But Dr. FEELGOOD also shot Jackie up too! And it's thanks to her that Jack got involved with the Vietnam thing, that was going on at that time, because Jackie was a Francophile and wanted to help the French.
Also, Jackie loved French designer clothes. During the runup to the presidential election, American fashion magazines ran a contest for American designers, with the promise that the winner would DRESS Jackie if Jack won. He did win a RIGGED/FRAUDULENT election and so the winner DID dress Jackie; she did NOT pick out her own wardrobe!
