Is he maga or a Romney/Paul RYNO/G W MORON type of neoCON globohomo?
“ One reason for the so-called ‘Burgum buzz’ among Republicans is his uptick of Fox News appearances.
Burgum is now a frequent guest on the network as he navigates the delicate cable news dance to attract Trump’s favor.”

Well this is a MINUS for Burgum, IMHO. I’m having flashbacks to Fox’s promotion of the disaster Mehmet Oz to be our candidate for US Senate in 2022.
I saw Burgum on TV several times when he was still in the race and he seemed impressive. Whether he has some negatives, I don't know. But unlike some of the names bandied about, I don't think he would cost Trump votes, or make Congress eager to get rid of Trump via impeachment & conviction.
I am supporting Sarah Huckabee Sanders for Trump’s VP.
“He is a billionaire businessman...”
If he has more billions than DJT, he won’t be the VP pick.
Lee Zeldin
It’s all about Trump. No one is voting for or against him based on a running mate. He should pick someone he thinks would be a successor. Someone who is a like minded individual with the stones of a Donald Trump. If there are any.
Mike Huckabee
No, just no.
Pence also seemed like a decent guy whom I did not think was Vice Presidential material even though the Vice President has but three duties:
1. To preside over the joint session of Congress to count the electoral votes.
2. To be the president of the US Senate.
3. To assume the presidency upon the death or disablement of the President.
I don’t think it would work. Individuals at the top of their profession, sports, business, etc. are competitive to the max, trying to out-do each other in every imaginable way. Who has the biggest yacht, swankiest address, biggest salary, stock options...that sort of thing. My favs so far are Ron Johnson, J.D. Vance, or Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
Stefanik.
Youngkin would probably be OK.
This is a bad choice among the many available ones. Pres. Trump should go for the suitable ones that will be competent and draw votes from the Dims.
Apparently he was in the tech industry and sold his company to (and later was employed by) Microsoft. So, he probably has connections to potential support and donors from the West Coast. That connection might make a Trump-Burgum ticket more palatable to West Coast tech industry types.
Burgum as VP would place him as the Republican presidential nominee in 2028. A former software company exec as president would be comparatively more valuable to American tech companies (as opposed to another lawyer). So they may despise Trump, but getting Burgum in line for the throne might be worth it to them. After all, what’s the alternative? Kamala Harris on the dem side?
I hope he doesn’t pick JD Vance. I love him, but Ohio needs him in the Senate. Hopefully, we will oust Sherrod Brown this fall. That is, if the NE Ohio RAT Cabal doesn’t cook the books.
Noem was not ever the front runner. Burgum would be an awesome pick. He understands exactly what is going on and is beholden to no one. Burgum can not be bought.
IMHO, he’s always been the best choice for VP. All the rest have too much baggage, or they are needed right where they are.
Well, in this grand pursuit, it seems we’ve all have a dog in this hunt.
If we’re picking a VP, why not consider Kristi Noem? After all, she’s got quite the geopolitical swagger, from her legendary tête-à-tête with Kim Jong Un to her stellar leadership of Winston Churchill amidst the chaos of the London Blitz.
The Daily Mail obviously wanted Noem out of the race. They achieved that result.
