This is like something Democrats would say. As much as I don't like George Soros, saying he "supported Hitler," does not seem like a fair statement. Even if the worst he was accused of at that time is true, it's not like Jews at that time were in a good position, right? Maybe, in his heart, he had no problem doing that, but maybe also it was just a time when people did what they had to to survive.
The antidote to leftist craziness, is not t be like them, but to be not like them.

George Soros/Soros Gyorgy’s father, Tivdar, bribed Hungarian officials to mark them as Catholic ethnic Hungarians. Soros Tivdar also paid the Hungarian official to be the “godfather of Gyorgy.” Like his “godfather”, Gyorgy joined the Hungarian Arrow Cross (Nazi collaborators) and accompanied him to steal property from actual Jews, who would be sent to Auschwitz.
