Dear American heroes, You show the utmost bravery and self-sacrifice that is the best in humanity. Even in this day and age when so many Americans take for granted the possibilities and pursuit of happiness that came from people such as yourselves through our nation's history and the feeling that life goes on here in the United States-it will be because of you that the United States continues to offer up the best in this world and maintain or way of life. I continue to be amazed at how fine our military is in this day with people like yourselves that volunteer to serve and keep our country and, for that matter, the world safe. It is a sad and troublesome time in this world and the tyrants and evil people are attempting to make the world and its future suffer with their controlling things through their murder and mayhem, but it is because of you that it can and will be stopped. God bless you all and know that you are loved and respected and you give so much for people to live with the freedoms we have and will continue to have because of you. Hey Kitty thanks for the heads up on this! I think that it's a great idea. I will have the kids and their friends write some letters to our troops. I really like the thought of telling our troops how grateful we are for the fact that they are protecting our country as they are en route to their destinations. I'll be sure to let them know that I'm damned proud to be an American and that I'm even more proud of the fact that they are defending our great country.
