Migrants Breach Fortified Border Barrier, March Through Texas Neighborhood
Breitbart ^ | 05/15/2024 | RANDY CLARK

A group of nearly 100 migrants, including some young children, was observed marching away from the Rio Grande after breaching border barriers near the heart of downtown Eagle Pass, Texas. The migrants strolled through the city streets and were observed by residents who notified authorities of the breach.

Although migrant crossings have been significantly reduced in recent months due to actions taken by Mexican authorities and the State of Texas, some migrants are still managing to make it into the United States.

One resident captured several photos of the large migrant group strolling through her neighborhood on Tuesday just as the Border Patrol arrived to make the arrest. The group managed to breach concertina wire installed along the Rio Grande by state authorities deployed to fortify the border under Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star. A Customs and Border Protection source, not authorized to speak to the media, says many in the group will likely be released to pursue asylum claims within the United States.

Looks like now that the cameras are gone, so is Abbott’s interest in closing the border.

They’re smart enough to bring some children with them.

From the article, “...some migrants are still managing to make it into the United States....”

Like they are trying to convince us it is a rare occurrence? We are not that stupid.

You're forgetting, nearly half the country voted for Biden.

Why can we not defend our country from invaders?
Can we not shoot them?

Oops, a big slip up-——Obrador didnt think that one through.

And what, he was asked on TV talk, would happen if the U.S. were to refuse
Mexico’s blackmail? (demanding $20 million of our tax dollars immediately)

Obrador abruptly snapped:

“The flow of migrants will continue” - a stark unequivocal admission that he,
Obrador himself, has all the power to stop, or turn on, illegals pouring into the U.S.

This is what’s driving the Mexican greedster.

Obrador figures its worth the risk........the more migrants
they escort here here means more remittances back to Mexico.

How much in remittances alone does Mexico receive from the US?

SAN DIEGO (Border Report—Feb 8, 2024)

More than $63 billion in remittances were sent to Mexico in 2023,
with most of the money arriving from the US, according to
Banxico, Mexico’s central bank.

The figure is a 7% hike from the previous year.

Does not include billions upon billions we taxpayers rain down on this troublesome country

CPD...says many in the group will likely be released to pursue asylum claims within the United States.

Previously, international law provided asylum if the immigrant feared persecution.

Today, in the U.S. "asylum eligibility may vary depending on the prevailing laws and regulations at any given time.", i.e., the admin in the WH. See policies of Clinton, Obama and Biden.

“They’re smart enough to bring some children with them.”

Isn’t a wall the obviously most humane and effective way to control our immigration considering the number of people wanting to come here?

Even if that is obvious to many, powerful forces want the immigration to continue, and it looks like a lot of voters don’t care.

Biden will soon be hosting those illegals at the White House no doubt.

So my understanding on how this works is those arrested will be given a trial date and then they will disappear. I don’t understand why border patrol can not just walk them back into Mexico?

One option is to citizen arrest them.
