Some pics of the kiddos from Sam and Sarah's first birthday party last July, Labor Day at Aunt C's and Uncle B's, and Maya's 9th birthday in October.

Sam amidst the wrapping paper at his first birthday party

Sarah in her party dress, ready for some cake!

Maya's radiant smile

Swimming at Aunt C's and Uncle B's on Labor Day--hair curling gone wild!

Serious Sarah contemplating what to do next

This is what we call "monkey hair" (like baby orangutangs!)

Sam was nervous of the floaty toy at first

He got over that anxiety pretty quick and had fun splashing!

Sam's fierce face--he looks just like his dad in this one!

Maya playing on the giant 'flying saucer' floatie with Uncle B-they had a blast! :-)

Maya's 9th Birthday cake with Hoops & YoYo--we couldn't find a topper, so we made these decorations out of fondant ourselves! Turned out great!

Maya and her cake at Chuck E. Cheese restaurant

Dad and Sam enjoying some ice cream and cake

Sarah and her grandfather "Thata" from India look like they are up to some mischief!

Sarah and Sam got in a tussle over a little purple ball--it popped away from them, they both took off after it, and Sarah was victorious! :-)

Gosh, it's been awhile since I updated this page! Sorry about that! The twins and Maya's busy schedule keep me on my toes! :-)
Since the last post, the twins have had their first birthday...Maya and I and the twins went to our first protest here in our town on April 15th's TEA Party, Maya had a GREAT time, and we both felt so inspired and patriotic about America!
On Sept. 4th Maya was in school but the twins and I went to the Dallas Tea Party Express stop in Addison, TX--what a turnout!! It was a long drive, but worth it, so many people showed up, and again, that feeling of inspiration, patriotism, and hope for America that I hadn't had since April 15th! Here's a picture of me (rare!) posing by one of the buses. I was hoping to get to meet JimRob in person, but the "FReepmobile" broke down and he didn't get to attend. Maybe next time though! :-)
Kudos to all those American TEA Party Patriots who were able to attend the HUGE September 12th Rally in Washington DC last Saturday! WOW!!! Like someone commented on FR, for every person who was able to go, they represented a thousand of us who agreed with them but weren't able to attend! 2 million?!? AWESOME!!! WE THE PEOPLE!! Can you hear us now, HolyO?!? :-)

March 2009: Sarah and Sam are 8 months old!

Jan. 29, '09: The twins are 6 months old now, and doing great!! God has blessed them both with good health and wonderful personalities. We've started them on solid foods, and recently both babies started cutting their first teeth! I am still nursing them as well, doing great on all fronts. Big sister Maya became a first degree Black Belt in Taekwondo in December (at the age of 8, yay, Maya!) and got her picture taken with one of the international leaders of the school franchise last weekend! Thanks to God for such wonderful children!! :*) :*) :*)

Sarah and Maya, cutting up!
Sometimes Sarah can't wait for meals so she has a little snack to tide her over, LOL!
Pretty girls!
Say what?! :-)
2 minutes later, Sarah had wrapped herself in the blanket like a burrito!
Handsome fellow

I don't think I can embed a video here, so here's a
link of Sarah giggling with her dad. :-)

The twins are 4 months tomorrow (10-29-08), and growing big and strong! We had them dedicated to God on Maya's 8th birthday October 19th. All 3 children are healthy and happy and the apple of their daddy's eye. :*)
Here's a current picture of Sarah with her typical smiling face (these are cell phone pics, so low quality resolution):
Sam, just hanging out at home. :-)
Maya at her birthday party at a local gymnastics school--all the kids had a blast! :-)

The twins are now 3 months old, and both are a joy in our lives! :*)

Our twins have arrived, safe and sound!! :*) All praise and glory to God in the Highest for these little miracles!! :*) Originally was supposed to have an induction on Thursday, July 10th, but then we learned on Tuesday, July 8th during one last routine ultrasound that Samuel had turned transverse, so a scheduled c-section was planned for Thursday instead. But that night Sarah had different plans when her amniotic sac broke and by the time we got to the hospital a short time later I was already halfway dilated (without painful contractions!)...so my OB performed the c-section not long after. Sarah was born first, at 1:57 am, July 9th, with brother Samuel entering the world a moment later. Both babies and I did great and had no complications, and we all got to go home a few days later. Big sister Maya Grace is very proud of her new siblings as you can see from the picture below! :*)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Haven't caught up over here for awhile. I am now at 35 weeks and 3 days. Getting very close to seeing these precious miracles eye to eye soon! :*) No major problems to worry about, Sarah is now around 6.25 lbs and Samuel is about 6.5 lbs!! Both are very VERY active! Not going to make it to my due date in July. Hoping to hold on until the grandparents arrive from India on July 5th, but we'll see. Still praying for a natural delivery vs. a c-section, but whatever it takes to get them safe into the world is what we'll do, by the grace of God! :*) Here's a picture Maya took of me yesterday. Yes, I've gotten a bit larger, but surprisingly enough, I've only gained around 25 lbs or so! The babies are using everything else! :-) All praise to God for such a wonderful pregnancy!! :*)
----------------------------------------------------------
Today, April 22cd, I have reached 27 weeks, praise God! :*) 91 days to go...both babies doing great, I'm now going to the OB every 2 weeks because of my super high risk status (I'm in 5 out of 6 high risk categories). Finally got a 3D picture of Sarah at the last appt, but Samuel was still too wiggly. Maybe at this Wednesday's appt! Oh, and another praise--I failed my first gestational diabetes test so had to take the 3 hour glucose test (4 blood draws in 3 hours) last Friday--results came back normal today, yay!! :*)
*******************************************************************************
I am now 23 weeks 2 days pregnant, only 117 days to go to my due date of July 22, 2008!! Both babies are growing well, and are very active (the ultrasounds consistently show them poking or kicking each other, LOL). I've started feeling and seeing kicks on the outside, which is truly a wondrous feeling. :*) God is blessing these babies so much!
*******************************************************************************
At 17 weeks gestation, we learned that the twins are normal and healthy and slightly ahead of target, and we learned that:
Baby A is a:
And Baby B is a:
We thank God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for these miraculous blessings! :*)

Our new gifts from God, due July 22, 2008:

Baby "B" (15 weeks)

Both babies, side by side (15 weeks)
