On So- Called "Pitbulls":
There is no such breed of dog called "Pitbull" that is recognized by the American Kennel Club. The AKC recognizes the American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Bull Terrier which are often confused with "pitbulls" and though the United Kennel Club recognizes an "American Pit Bull Terrier," it too is also often confused with appoximately 25 other breeds by ignorant people wanting to blame the dog in 90 percent of dog attacks. So-called "pitbulls" are most often the products of unscrupulous backyard breeding, selected mainly for the illegal and cruel sport of dog fighting, and associated with criminal activity such as drug trafficking or with gangs and thugs (Michael Vick). The Staffordshire and Bull Terriers varieties are purebred dogs of quality, and make excellent pets for the right kinds of masters. Those kinds of masters are responsible ones, who will obedience train and properly socialize their dogs; as well as purchase insurance in compliance with many states' ordinances and spay or neuter dogs that are not show quality. Those persons who wish to ban these fine breeds of dogs, in my opinion, rank side by side with persons who wish to eliminate the 2nd Amendment of our Constitution and ban all firearms. While just as in humankind there exists mentally deranged persons, there are "redzone" dogs that exist in every breed and these should be euthanized. Still, in the majority of dog attacks, often the case is that the attacking dog has been provoked or believes it needs to protect its owner's life or property by unwary humans.

• Ardent and enthusiastic McCain/Palin supporter because of an unabashed love for military heroes, now mostly a sidelines fan because of 2nd Amendment and illegal immigration stances.!)
• Islam (the fanitical form) is an insidious religious disease and a world danger.
• Unabashedly love this country and the men and women who lay their lives on the line to defend it!
• Strongly of the opinion that Barack Obama, George W. Bush, William Jefferson Clinton and Jimmy Carter weren't worthy enough even to scrape dog waste from the bottom of Ronald Reagan's shoes while George H.W. Bush was just good enough only to shine them...
