• Ted Cruz Isn't a 'Natural Born' Citizen

Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution states: "No Person except a natural born Citizen ... shall be eligible to the Office of President." The original structure of the Constitution does suggest that "natural born" was meant to contain a geographic component of birth in the United States. The "Inhabitant" requirements for senators and representatives in Article I of the Constitution clearly were intended to be geographic. Since the qualifications stated for president contain no other obvious parallel geographic reference, it would seem the framers meant the "natural born" citizenship requirement for president to refer to those born...

SEOUL (AFP) - North Korea threatened "all-out war" in response to exercises by South Korean and US troops due to start Monday and told Seoul to stop cross-border propaganda, upping the rhetoric against its arch rivals. Pyongyang would respond to the upcoming drill, with "unprecedented all-out counteraction" that would turn the South's capital Seoul into a "sea of flames", the Korean Central News Agency said Sunday. "The army and people of the DPRK will return bolstered nuclear deterrent of our own style for the continued nuclear threat... and our own missile striking action for their vicious attempt to eliminate our...

MIAMI (AP) - Clark Ramm sees shades of the Wild West in Florida's new law giving greater legal protections to people who shoot or use other deadly force when threatened or attacked. "It seems like everybody ought to be packing a piece," said Ramm, a visitor from Ukiah, Calif., who found out about the law Monday from a gun control group handing out leaflets at Miami International Airport. "I don't know if that's the right thing to do." The leaflets begin with the words "An Important Notice to Florida Visitors" in bold red type by the Brady Campaign to Prevent...

Funny thing came to my mind just recently, With all of those stories on Free Republic on how the world hates us and all that? I wonder if someday the world will gang up on the U.S. A old quote I remember my pricipal saying when I was in school was "Whatever bad things you do, Will come back to you harder" and it seems after couple of centuries of bringing hatred, segregation and so on to the world. The world may have had enough, The French hate us, The Muslims, The Chinese, The Russians, Part of South Asia, Cuba,...

Ray McGovern a 27-year senior CIA intelligence analyst has exposed the lies of the Neocons and the Israeli-controlled foreign policy of the United States. The session took an awkward turn when witness Ray McGovern, a former intelligence analyst, declared that the United States went to war in Iraq for oil, Israel and military bases craved by administration “Neocons” so “the United States and Israel could dominate that part of the world.” He said that Israel should not be considered an ally and that Bush was doing the bidding of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. “Israel is not allowed to be...

Are you a hater? Do you consider yourself to be superior based on your race, religion, sexual orientation? Are you a self-righteous blowhard? If you are reading this, then you most likely are one. What makes you so superior? Because of your religion? What about all the Islams who are acting just as self-righteous and oppressive and "RIGHT" as you?? Moslems and Homosexuals aren't the scourge of the world. Intolerance, judgmentalism, and vice-pointing (i.e. You're going to hell because you do this or that, or don't believe exactly what I believe). You've got it all wrong as far as I'm...

Comedian Al Franken is bringing his ambitious attempt to create a liberal talk radio network to the Bay Area's airwaves starting Tuesday. Air America, which got off to a rocky beginning after its start in April, will take over the slot now occupied by KABL on 960 AM. The new station will be called KQKE, "the Quake." KABL, which plays American standards from the 1940s and 1950s, will move to 92.1 FM, broadcasting out of Walnut Creek. Clear Channel Communications, which owns KABL, hopes to turn the Sinatra- oriented station into a broader network, starting with 92.1 and a station...

It was perhaps a measure of the strangeness of last night's Democratic debate that Rep. Dennis Kucinich, the candidate who wants to withdraw from Iraq and create a Department of Peace, kicked Ted Koppel's ass. The ABC News anchorman moderated the debate, held on the campus of the University of New Hampshire, and began the session like a teacher might begin a first-grade class: by asking the candidates to "raise your hand if you believe Governor Dean can beat George W. Bush." To no one's surprise, former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, fresh from winning the endorsement of former Vice President...

Tuesday, November 19, was truly [1] a black, black day for this nation and one I never dreamed would happen here.

I remember vividly as a child watching Nikita Khrushchev standing at the UN beating his shoe against the podium and shouting that they (the then Soviet Union) would take us over without firing a shot. Little did we know or ever dream then that the Soviet Union would fall but that a truly [2] evil man from Texas and his equally evil regime from Cheney on down would take us over from within and that the Democrats would completely collapse before our eyes and help him do it. This truly [3] began with the stolen election of 2000.
