Is it possible for a President of the United States to be sent to the Hague to be tried for war crimes? What would be the procedure for doing this?
-
Why does anybody support George w Bush as President? He is clearly the worst President I have ever seen -- a complete disaster. And before you say anything, I have been a registered Republican for 25 years.

After reading all of the crap that people have been saying regarding Adult Private Social Clubs, I felt that I had to post an article and give my opinion. I am sick and tired of all the religous groups that are saying that there are drugs, prostitution, minors, non-consenting people, and just immoral people at these clubs! First of all, who do these people think they are to decide what is morally right or wrong for me? I believe that I have a good set of morals. I am a law abiding, tax paying citizen, I work full time and...

What is Derr you may ask? Derr may be the most important thing you may have to worry about. Derr is very evil, very naughty and very ungodly. It is believed to be the reason for why we aren't doing so well in Iraq. But back to the question... What exactly is Derr? Derr is a satanic ritual performed in this country long ago by the Canaanites, the Perezites, the Gurgashites, the Ammorites, the Moabites and the Hittites. It involved taking a stick from a wheat tree and sticking it up your nose while shouting, "Hey mom! Ship ahoy! There...

I have been arguing with stupid libs for two days saying that Bush committed no crime because under the provisions of the USSID 18 and the FSIA, he could with perfect legitimacy eavesdrop on aliens involved in terrorist activities if he had AG approval. However, what was puzzling is that Gonzales did not cite USSID 18; he cited the more dubious rationale of war powers approval. This would seem to indicate that Bush was spying on US citizens without a Court Order which clearly violates USSID 18 and the FSIA, and was using war powers approval to cover for it....

Lies of omission about 9/11 -- stoking fears of terrorism THEY WANT YOU TO BE AFRAID The following post was censored by freerepublic.com shortly after it was posted on their "public" forum on 9/11/04. That forum is designed to appear as though it is a community forum open to all, but this post only received three responses before it and its replies were deleted, and a repeat posting at 4 am PST on 9/20/04 didn't stay online for 5 minutes! Someone is apparently watching closely over the content of the freerepublic.com forums and censoring them 24/7 (though they might have...

Wrongful Imprisonment: Anatomy of a CIA Mistake German Citizen Released After Months in 'Rendition' By Dana Priest Washington Post Staff Writer Sunday, December 4, 2005; A01 In May 2004, the White House dispatched the U.S. ambassador in Germany to pay an unusual visit to that country's interior minister. Ambassador Daniel R. Coats carried instructions from the State Department transmitted via the CIA's Berlin station because they were too sensitive and highly classified for regular diplomatic channels, according to several people with knowledge of the conversation. Coats informed the German minister that the CIA had wrongfully imprisoned one of its citizens,...

WASHINGTON — As part of an information offensive in Iraq, the U.S. military is secretly paying Iraqi newspapers to publish stories written by American troops in an effort to burnish the image of the U.S. mission in Iraq. The articles, written by U.S. military "information operations" troops, are translated into Arabic and placed in Baghdad newspapers with the help of a defense contractor, according to U.S. military officials and documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times. Many of the articles are presented in the Iraqi press as unbiased news accounts written and reported by independent journalists. The stories trumpet the...

George Bush Senior SHOULD have got rid of Saddam Hussein in 1991. Its 13 years too late now and hundreds of thousands of people have died for his stupidity. When Bush Sr. pulled out of Iraq it was for the same reason America pulled out of Vietnam. There would have been no argument about whether Saddam had "weapons of mass destruction" back then. He did have them, and he used them on Iraqis who had helped the Americans in the Gulf War. You see, the Americans made a deal with a large number of Iraqis that they would help them...

..transcript of an October 19 public conversation sponsored by The Nation Institute at the New York Ethical Culture Society The conversation was based on revelations in Ritter's new book, Iraq Confidential MR. HERSH: What I'm going to do is just ask Scott a series of questions. I've read his book a couple of times, So, Scott, to begin, before we even talk about how we got to where we are, my own personal view is we have two options in Iraq. Option A, we can get all our troops out by midnight tonight, and option B, we can get them...

He sure seems to like them mexicans. He was even talking about letting 'em into the country! Dang nabbit - I'm gonna lose my job if'n he keeps up flacking his jaw. How we supposed to make that many foodstamps fer all of 'em!? Them coming over here and taking my tax money is terrorism, where's our war on them? If Allen likes 'em so much let's send 'em to his house. We'll put signs up at the border on how to get there. See how much he supports the illegals then.

THE GIFT THAT COULD GIVE WORLD PEACE Awhile back I started thinking about Jesus. It started partly because I’d met someone who seemed to know what Jesus is all about. And also- about that time I was visiting my sister and Jesus always seems to be present around her. Then too, Jesus’ birthday was coming and it all led me to look further into His story and of course that took me to the Bible. When I was a kid I was pretty religious. Went to Church every Sunday, attended Sunday school and sang in the choir. I remember those...

I post at your satellite site as this one tends to be an echo chamber for the RNC. Don't get wrong; I dont have a problem with that -- it's just not my thing. I can't access it today. Do you know what the problem is? Do you monitor that site here? Are there server problems? Any information would be helpful.

Yes it is. At least when it comes to hating Bush and you Nazis. Nahh. I don't advocate violence. That's for Bush and you scum who love killing Iraqi children. You are not welcome in my business, though, and I encourage all rational people not to let any Bush supporters in their business. We don't want your money. Try and find Nazi Germany. Maybe they will take it. We live in squalor now. Horrible economy, natural devastation with government laughing; we are international pariahs. Are there any decent people here who will join me in condemning this horrible administration?

This pledge drive is going way too slowly for my comfort. Please donate now! What if we lose Free Republic? Where else are we going to find a group of people who show unquestioned support for a President with 35% approval ratings? Whao is going to organize the "Free Tom Delay" and "Free Karl Rove" protest rallies? If everyone would just donate $1.99 (the price of a 6 pack of Pabst, as you all are aware) we can lick this thing. So donate. What's more important, your country or your beer?

"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you." (Matthew 5:38-42, NIV). "But I say...

Conservative movement is dead Posted: October 4, 2005 1:00 a.m. Eastern © 2005 WorldNetDaily.com I hereby officially pronounce the conservative movement dead. May it rest in peace. It was killed by its faith in men, not principles – men like George W. Bush. The appointments of John Roberts as chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court and Harriet Miers as associate justice serve as the epitaphs for the political movement. But even before these betrayals, conservatism was on life support. It could not have survived the irresponsible spending by the Republican Congress, approved by the president during the last five...

President Bush Response to Hurricane Katrina Excellent 17% Good 18% Fair 23% Poor 41% September 18, 2005--Thirty-five percent (35%) of Americans now say that President Bush has done a good or excellent job responding to Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. That's down from 39% before his speech from New Orleans. The latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows that 41% give the President poor marks for handling the crisis, that's up 37% before the speech.... Following the speech, the President's rating for handling the Katrina crisis fell eight points among Republicans (from 71% good or excellent to 63%). The President also draws...

I realize Bush is your hero, but have you considered the following: In his 2000 presidential campaign, George W. Bush pledged to regulate carbon dioxide emissions. Once in office, he reversed course, with encouragement from well-placed contributors, industries, and lobbyists (including now-Governor Hailey Barbour of Mississippi). We can't trust W to keep his promises. As president, Bill Clinton expanded the coastal wetlands in the Gulf of Mexico that protect the mainland and lower storm surges. Bush reversed those actions, allowing high-rolling developers and contributors to develop those wetlands, reducing the protections those wetlands provided. We can't trust W to protect...

Here's proof! The kitties are are loser souses just like your hero President. BTW, your boy really stunk in his speech last night. What a loser

Don't you think our president is doing well? Most main stream media(save fox) would call the president " the cause for this disaster". I want to be clear. He was not! God, allowed this to happen. Somne main stream media would call the president a non-sensitive man. Wrong again! Just a few days ago i saw our president, Mr. Bush holding two young ladys and comforting them. I saw some tears being held back bye or president. If any body calls Mr. Bush a "non-carring" man in my presance they would get heck. Then of course, there's people like kerry,...

In light of the recent events in New Orleans etc. It is interesting to note that over a hundred fifty years ago the American prophet Joseph Smith prophesied that the day would come when the US government would waste itself waging war in foreign lands while at home the nation would collapse with natural disasters and internal amarchy and chaos as a direct result of the wickedness of the US people and the nations rejection of the God of this land, Jesus Christ. Coincedence? A lucky guess?

I am so proud of my country for invading Iraq that I want to go fight, too. I can't wait to kill as many Iraqis as possible -- just as any good American would want to do. At the same time, I can help bolster the profits of that fine American company, Haliburton. If I am really, really lucky, I will be killed there just as any American would be proud to do. The best scenario would be if my death could result in more Republicans bieng installed in government to invade other countries. I consider myself the luckiest man...

Cenk Uygur on The Huffington Post: Draft Hagel for Defense At this point, nearly everyone agrees that Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld should be fired (with the obvious exception of Vice President Dick Cheney, and hence, the President). Republican Senators like John McCain and Trent Lott have called for his dismissal. Nearly every Democrat in Congress believes he should be fired. Even neoconservatives like Bill Kristol have turned on him. But the question isn’t whether Rumsfeld should be fired – it’s who replaces him? Whoever replaces the Secretary will hopefully lead the Iraqi operation in a new direction that it...

To the editor: One would think that the president of the United States holds the most stressful job ever. Isn't it wonderful that our pompous president is in such excellent condition healthwise? And why not? His eligible daughters aren't in Iraq protecting our country like so many others, more than 1,800 who have given their lives for a war that he started. With a smirk on his face, he says, "We will stay the course." Who is "we?" Not him or his family. Heck no. He's on a month's vacation. If he's so gung-ho about this war, show us some...

Laws are currently being debated and made concerning gay marriage and abortion - where is the line drawn between the church and it’s influence on the state? Bush has directly cited God for his beliefs concerning gay marriage – he has NO business imposing his beliefs onto us by law.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Im so glad Jennings is dead in hell! I couldn't stand listening to all that liberal pro freedom bable. Jennings was an evil wicked communist who touted evil values such as religious freedom, freedom of speech and racial equality which as Debbie Schlussel stated after 9/11 are all anethema to genuine western values and are the reason we were attacked! Do you not know that the constitution of the USSR guarentees freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of the press?! IT'S true! That's why they were EEEEEVILL! Ever since we've adopted those planks, our nation has fell...

The All-Volunteer Force (AVF), arguably the most successful and widely hailed federal program of the past thirty years, is failing. The conditions that enabled the AVF to thrive through the 1980s and 1990s no longer pertain. The erosion of those conditions, greatly accelerated by the Iraq War, is exposing as false the great unspoken assumption undergirding U.S. policy since the end of the cold war, namely, that the United States can enjoy the prerogatives of being the world’s sole superpower on the cheap.

If we are at war like your socialist neocon idol suggests, then why is he going on vacation. Shouldn't he be manning the command post? AND closing down the borders. Geez, I bet enough illegals swam into Texas just this week to pick a year's supply of lettuce. Yeah, I know, go back to DU or whatever. I just figured that since this is BOT Central, I'd just like to see you Bots try and defend this. And those of you who are eligible for military service shouldn't be here anyway. You should be over in Iraq helping to fight...

A small town in Indiana and a brief filed saying that Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided are entirely positive signs on first inspection, but the second reveals only a leaning and not a falling off on one side or the other. This is, of course, by White House design for the public understanding of Judge Roberts. Bush has exhibited his recurrent traits and examining G.W. Bush right now is the only way to know what really is in the heart of Judge Roberts. Roberts is deliberately without much record. He is deliberately congenial and with friends all around. He...

I am very worried for Karl Rove. Ir appears he is going to jail, and I don't want him to end up in a bad place where bad things could happen to him (what were those bad federal prisons referred to in the movie "Office Space?") Can we start a petition to give to his sentencing judge to have him sent to a nice prison? Maybe he coould go where Martha Stewart went. Or is that just for women. Let's make sure he goes to a nice place, though.

June 26, 2005 Guest Viewpoint: The party's over for betrayed Republican By James Chaney As of today, after 25 years, I am no longer a Republican. I take this step with deep regret, and with a deep sense of betrayal. I still believe in the vast power of markets to inspire ideas, motivate solutions and eliminate waste. I still believe in international vigilance and a strong defense, because this world will always be home to people who will avidly seek to take or destroy what we have built as a nation. I still believe in the protection of individuals and...

We should not be fighting the Islamicists but joining forces with them. As a conservative who does not drink or smoke, believes the body is the Lord's temple, and that women should be submissive to their husbands, I find the Islamic message to be a breath of fresh air. We need to welcome the Islamicist lifestyle to turn America away from the debauchery of today and return us to the puritanical society we are meant to have.

With Tuesday’s attacks, Abu Musab Zarqawi, a Jordanian militant with ties to al-Qaida, is now blamed for more than 700 terrorist killings in Iraq. But NBC News has learned that long before the war the Bush administration had several chances to wipe out his terrorist operation and perhaps kill Zarqawi himself — but never pulled the trigger.

Hot off the presses! A small excerpt from the article follows: MINISTERS were warned in July 2002 that Britain was committed to taking part in an American-led invasion of Iraq and they had no choice but to find a way of making it legal. The warning, in a leaked Cabinet Office briefing paper, said Tony Blair had already agreed to back military action to get rid of Saddam Hussein at a summit at the Texas ranch of President George W Bush three months earlier. The briefing paper, for participants at a meeting of Blair’s inner circle on July 23, 2002,...

ASHINGTON - The Pentagon on Friday confirmed for the first time that a U.S. soldier deliberately kicked a Guantanamo Bay prisoner's Muslim holy book in violation of the military's rules for handling the Quran. In other confirmed incidents, prison guards threw water balloons in a cell block, causing an unspecified number of Qurans to get wet; a guard's urine splashed on a detainee and his Quran; an interrogator stepped on a Quran during an interrogation; and a two-word obscenity was written in English on the inside cover of a Quran. The findings are among the results of an investigation last...

At the end of your on-air discussion, you said, "If there's another Deep Throat out there, give us a call, won't you. We're waiting for your call." Yeah, bullsh*t. For the past eight months, thousands of people have been sending you information on the 2004 stolen election and you've been ignoring it like a burning herpes sore on your anus when your wife asks...

In my opinion our greatest threat in this country is the Liberals. We MUST DO whatever is necsseary to keep them ever from regaining power in the White House, and Congress! Yes. I am new to this website and was wondering why my account was banned? I posted an article I wrote about how Buddhism not Islam is a threat to America and is the fastest growing religion instead of Islam. I noted how Buddhism denies the existence of God and the divinity of Christ, I also made note of how Buddhists practice an evil satanic ceremony called doku. It is a ritual where Buddhist monks use a doku drum made of the hide of a white christian baby to conjure up demons for human sacrifice. Using three fingers they beat...
