Individuals seeking employment with the Target Corporation will soon notice a change in the company’s job applications. The Minneapolis-based company recently announced that they will no longer question applicants about their criminal history. The company said it expects to remove the question from applications nationwide in the coming year. The Department of Defense unit charged with recovering servicemembers’ remains abroad has been holding phony “arrival ceremonies” for seven years, with an honor guard carrying flag-draped coffins off of a cargo plane as though they held the remains returning that day from old battlefields. The Pentagon acknowledged Wednesday that no honored dead were in fact arriving, and that the planes used in the ceremonies often couldn’t even fly, and were towed into position. A 55-gallon drum of uranium was found Thursday in the area of a dismantled airplane at Opa-locka Executive Airport, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. The area has been evacuated while a hazmat team from Miami International Airport assess the situation as well as a possible spill.
