A senior police officer has called for on-street testing of liquids to tackle acid attacks, as Britain struggles to cope with one of the worst rates of acid attacks in the world. Suffolk Assistant Chief Constable Rachel Kearton wants new legislation to criminalise the carrying of corrosive substances, similar to laws for carrying knives. Under the proposed legislation, suspects would have to prove they were carrying liquids, ranging from sulphuric acid to household bleach, for legitimate reasons.

A criminal justice college in New York City is embroiled in a battle with the Pentagon over exhibiting and helping to sell artwork by suspected al Qaeda terrorists at Guantanamo Bay. John Jay College of Criminal Justice is displaying 36 pieces of art by Gitmo detainees but the Department of Defense wants the paintings and sculptures destroyed. The school is funded by tax payers. Families of 9/11 victims were particularly upset to learn about the artwork. 'I can't understand how this college in particular would allow such a thing. Where's their decency? Where's their dignity? . . . It's denying...

On Wednesday night I kept my midweek date with Tucker Carlson on Fox News to discuss the politico-media framing of the latest Islamic terror attack. From Media-ite:On Wednesday night, Tucker Carlson and Mark Steyn slammed NBC News for a headline they put out hours after the terrorist attack in New York City. That's because their stupid headline was ringing twelve-year-old bells. But Media-ite pretended to be shocked by my objection to it:"NBC's headline is actually saying, 'We care more about a hypothetical attack on Muslims that never comes, we care more about that than, say, for example the five dead Argentines...

The White House said Wednesday that it considers the New York terrorist attacker to be an enemy combatant, a status which would make him subject to military justice. “I believe we would consider this person to be an enemy combatant, yes,” said White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. “I think the actions that he took certainly justify that.” Terrorist suspect Sayfullo Saipov, a native of Uzbekistan, is accused of killing eight people and injuring 11 others by mowing them down with a rented truck on a bike path in lower Manhattan Tuesday. President Trump said he would consider sending...

ROSARIO, Argentina — Argentina on Wednesday mourned five victims of the bike path attack near the World Trade Center who were part of a group of friends celebrating the 30th anniversary of their high school graduation with a trip to New York City. The victims were among eight friends marking their 1987 graduation from the Polytechnic School of Rosario, Argentina, with a U.S. trip to New York and Boston, near where one of their classmates lives. In Rosario, a minute of silence was observed at the high school, and the light-blue and white Argentina flag was flown at half-staff. The...

Been telling folks lately to be aware. Take out those ear plugs so you can hear whats going on around you. God gave us ears to hear dangers along with all the other sound waves. Look at the gym for instance. If Abdul came in blazing how long would it take for 90% to hear it. It would be too long and too late. Told the kids, keep your ears open these days you may hear danger b4 you see it.

Unlike the Las Vegas mass murder where authorities have been extremely tight-lipped about details and motives, we are very quickly getting details in about Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, the radical Islamic terrorist who shouted "Allahu Akbar" as he used a truck to mow down random people in the Manhattan area of New York City on Tuesday, killing at least eight and injuring several more. Sayfullo Saipov, 29, was an Uzbekistan National who came to the United States under the Diversity Visa Program (DV Program), which makes up to 50,000 immigrant visas available annually, drawn from random selection among all entries to...

SOUTHWEST ASIA – A convoy of vehicles is staged to depart Raqqah Oct. 14 under an arrangement brokered by the Raqqah Civil Council and local Arab tribal elders Oct. 12. The arrangement is designed to minimize civilian casualties and purportedly excludes foreign Daesh terrorists as people trapped in the city continue to flee the impending fall of Daesh’s so-called capital. People departing Raqqah under the arrangement are subject to search and screening by Syrian Democratic Forces. The Coalition was not involved in the discussions that led to the arrangement, but believes it will save innocent lives and allow Syrian Democratic...

British Prime Minister Theresa May lashed out at President Trump for suggesting in a tweet that Friday’s London subway terrorist had been known to police. May said that his assertion was not “helpful” and that authorities were still investigating the “full circumstances” surrounding the attack, which injured at least 22 people. In his tweetstorm, Trump referred to the attacker as a “loser terrorist.” “These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!” he said. “Loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner. The internet is their main recruitment tool...
