Good evening, Freepers... Our PC ran on Win XP, and although we continue to use our Dell, I'm in the market for yet another laptop to replace this XP. There's one particular laptop that's caught my eye today. The Dell Inspiron 17 7000 looks like a decent buy. Would any of you happen to own this model? Remember how my computer would no longer play videos very well? Well, nothing worked, so I took it to the shop on Monday, and when I went back today even though it had been wiped and had new hardware installed it still wasn't working. As more and more details emerge from the strange events on Flight 370, the more clear it becomes that the entire operation from the flight path re-programming, cloaking and changes in altitude to the lack of communication of distress from passengers or crew members, the vanishing of the plane and passengers and continued invisibility was done by a highly sophisticated organization. I am so old I recall the gay movement starting off with it's no one's business what occurs in the bedroom. And they did not want to be an in your face movement. I upgraded to Windows 8 about 4 months ago, and about a month ago, I started having issues with windowsupdate where the windowsupdate screen would open but everything in the screen was white, where there it normally tells you what patches you need. I tried several routes, including the Windows Update Troubleshooter found at the link above. Personal Observation: For the second consecutive year, CPAC has held its annual conference at the National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, about 5-7 miles away from the U.S. Capitol. Oxon Hill is in Prince George's County, Maryland -- which is heavily Democrat and majority black in residents.
