Wake up everyone, the 2018 off year election cycle begins Tuesday in Alabama, and unless you are clueless as to what is going on, the swamp is attempting to steal the first Senate seat up for grabs. Now is not the time to sit back and just watch what will happen next Tuesday. It's time to get as involved as you can to make sure the right man heads to Washington. We don't want anyone who will feel comfortable getting along with those living in the swamp. We want a man who will make the swamp dwellers feel so...

wonder whether this procedure has been considered? We know from The Pentagon Papers case that the US Sup Ct held that a "prior restraint" on the media publishing government papers was illegal under the Constitution. Let us consider the act of "publishing" to be a recognized act. We know that the taking of classified information without approval or beyond the permissible actions is a crime, perhaps under the Espionage Act of 1917, which, I understand, is poorly drafted. We know that one who commits a definable crime can be prosecuted. We further know that one who aids and abets the...
  • Vanity: Statue-Removing New Orleans Mayor Fails to Maintain Pump System

After spending over a million to remove Confederate statues, Mayor Mitch Landrieu (touted now as a potential Democratic Presidential candidate for 2020) is having his city flooded for failure to maintain the pump system. Typical Democrat. The city is under sea level and relies on a system of pumps. Mayor Landrieu was too busy worrying about statues to worry...

What Small Thing Can I Do To Meaningfully Help My President? I feel like I must do something to help President Trump and through him our country but feel so powerless to make a meaningful difference. I’ve reached out to opposition-minded friends and family but have had only limited success penetrating the insidious web of distortions woven by the media and the likes of Facebook and Google. I’ve written my Republican congressmen on numerous occasions only to receive boilerplate platitudes in response; I fear (but do not know) that they may be either self-serving cowards and/or as corrupt and seditious...

As many of you will recall, Obama made a trip to Pakistan when he was at Occidental College. I am seeing indicators that this relates to the Awans' network and to Iraq and Iran's nuclear programs, which I'm putting out here for others to help fill the missing pieces in and to get this to the right people. First, a recap of Obama's Pakistan trip:Obama’s Russia Problem: Obama's Links to Soviet-era Spy Rings and Terrorist NetworksAt Occidental College, Obama became involved in radical student politics, deliberately networking with activist students and professors, as he mentions in his autobiography. I have been paying special attention to the liberal editorial front page headlines that stain my AOL homepage…I haven't documented each and every instance of bias but this latest frontpage pushed me to the limit. From Tuesday, June 10, 2003, they have a pop up of GW at the Presidential podium and the caption Does he rate a thumb's up? Bush linked War to Weapons, Terror. But Where's the proof?…This underlined bit brings you to the heart of the liberal bias…The title of the linked page is AOL NEWS -- The Bush Credibility Meter…The body reads "He went after Saddam...

Th[e] Civil Asset Forfeiture law allows the police to confiscate the asset without a trial, summons, or conviction. They just grab the asset. In some cases, if people refused to sign a waiver for their cash or possessions, they were threatened with jail and losing their children to foster care. The 2016 presidential election is in many ways a battle between the once traditional idea of freedom in the form of the Nation State and that of the New World Order ruled by unelected bureaucrats as in Europe’s E.U.... A prosecutor once said he could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. Since Mueller has now empaneled a grand jury, we should send ham sandwiches to Mueller's office so he'll have something to indict, given how bogus the charges are against the Trump Campaign and Administration.

Firing the Mooch. BIG MISTAKE. I do not care what anyone says. He was brilliant at the press conferences. And as Diamond and Silk pointed out, for the 10-11 days he was on, Russia was not the narrative and the swamp was only starting to get drained. The moment he was fired and General Kelly came on board: more leaks than with Priebus in charge!!! And swamp creatures getting a free pass galore. The next few weeks is going to be a dark period for the White House until President Trump gets his bearings and trusts his instincts again rather...

I've lurked on the Free Republic website for a while now. Truth to tell, I found the place especially worthwhile for quick updates on the nail-biting 2016 election cycle. I was at first all in for Ted Cruz, but as we know, he fell by the wayside. I suspect that as bright as he is, Ted Cruz may be a little too slick for his own good. One seriously wonders how he would have done in the actual election had he managed to win the nomination. He's about as close as we'll ever get to a true conservative, but where's...
  • FLASHBACK: Technology travels to House (Awan)

Melissa Bean spent a career in the high-tech industry before turning her efforts to politics. So when the Barrington resident was elected to Congress last year to represent the 8th District, Bean knew that technology would travel with her to Washington. She has worked for Schaumburg-based Motorola Inc. and Mountain View, Calif.-based Synopsis Inc. And in 1995, Bean launched Sales Resources Inc., a sales consultancy aimed at technology companies. She says her application of technology for personal and political purposes is in stark contrast to the man she defeated in November. "My predecessor didn't even have an e-mail address," Bean...
