• Cable News Channels, FNC, MSNBC & CNN badly behind the times.

The cable news channels, Fox News Channel (FNC), MSNBC & Cable News Network (CNN) are sadly behind the times in timely news reporting relative to the 2016 POTUS race. Simple....they continue to play up Ted Cruz when the gent is coming apart at his seams. First, Cruz attacks New Yorkers, then yesterday he attacks all Italian-Americans. The neglect of this news is understandable, considering the bias of the cable news channels. But....what is not forgivable, their outright failure to proclaim the political nightmare that Ted Cruz is about to go through in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Rhode...

• [Vanity] Advancement by Technicality - A Way of Life

Advancement by technicality is bad form. Advancement by manufactured technicality is dishonest. The GOP argument in the Colorado delegation scandal is, "No rules were broken because we make up our own rules. No rules were broken because we have the right to change the rules to our favor. 'The law means what we say it means.' If the law says something inconvenient, we'll change it." Just because no rules were broken does not mean it was ethical. Q: What kind of person maneuvers in the shadows taking advantage of unknown weak points, many of which they have personally created, as...

As a former prosecutor and now defense attorney, I’ve had a number of thoughts about Clinton’s case, which mostly deal with tactics and logistics and not so much with the actual evidence itself. For these thoughts, I put myself in the shoes of the U.S. Attorney who gets this case dumped in his lap. What, exactly, are you dealing with? 1. Your defendant, thanks to the very graft machine you are expected to prosecute, will have access to almost unlimited financial resources. Unless the FBI has identified all the shady “shell corporations” where Hillary has hidden her money, and you...
• Delegates could be allowed to vote "conscience" on first vote) (semi-vanity)

All the rules could get changed before the convention starts, making everything you’ve just read irrelevant. What? The rules for each convention are ultimately decided at the convention itself. In 2012, for example, a rule was passed stating that a candidate could only have their name placed in nomination if they had won a majority of the delegates in eight or more states. At the time, this was widely seen as an effort to thwart possible machinations from supporters of then-Rep. Ron Paul (Texas). But the rule — Rule 40 — is a leading contender to be changed, since it...

This Saturday was the district conventions for many of the NC districts. The keynote speaker was Dr. Ada Fisher, a very impressive speaker and I recommend her short book “I am a Republican” which gives the history of NC African American Republicans. She also said it was her opinion that candidates for President should be born in America. I wasn’t sure how the process worked, but submitted myself as a delegate candidate. I wasn’t sure if anyone would second my nomination. All the GOP delegates in my county were Cruz supporters. Someone outside my district seconded me. Each of us...

On April 10, 2016, President Barack Obama appears to have obstructed justice while discussing Hillary Clinton’s email server with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. During the interview they discussed Obama’s interview on October 11, 2015, in which he discussed the issue with Steve Kroft of CBS’ “60 Minutes”: Steve Kroft: Do you think it posed a national security problem? President Barack Obama: I don't think it posed a national security problem. . . . Steve Kroft: You think it's not that big a deal-- President Barack Obama: . . . I can tell you that this is not a...

At the outset, let me assure all the Trump supporters, the Cruz supporters, the Kasich supporters and anyone else interested in the outcome of the Republican presidential primary that this article is not written with the intent to help or hurt any candidate. It is simply a dose of reality in an often confused political knife fight. In trying to advance the case that Sen. Cruz is not eligible to be President of the United States because he was born in Canada, the Trump forces are on what is undoubtably a fool’s errand. I’m not going to take the time...

Ted Cruz's SELF SERVING effort Helping to Destroy The GOPe by BYPASSING the VOTER to TAKE DELEGATES. This fellow in the video was a Republican Party State Delegate in Colorado. He was removed from his position because he voted for TRUMP. Not having a Primary, No Caucus, NO PUBLIC VOTE and CRUZ gets All THE DELEGATES. That is Disenfranchising the voters . . . and you don't think their will be a price to pay! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrqLQK7ecNE

Thousands of columns have been written that attack the Republican candidates. And I daresay, Free Republic has probably excerpted several thousand of them. As a Trumpster, I'd certainly rank RedState as the most outrageous liar and most vicious attacker of all the blogazines that seem to be dedicated to sinking Donald Trump. National Review comes in a close second. And if you're a Cruzer, you probably wouldn't shed a single tear to discover the National Enquirer had been accidentally torpedoed and sent to Davy Jones' locker. But slander is actually as old as the Republic! Have a listen to...
• (Vanity) The Republican Party Says Your Vote No Longer Counts

The Republican party is not winnning friends or influencing people by saying to the Republican voters in 2016 your vote no long counts. Think about it! The popular vote has always been honored by the Delegates unless it was very, very close like in 1952. We have a public election. We have all this money being spent. We have false advertising that say things like, “go vote”, “one man one vote”, “one woman one vote”, “every vote counts”, “you decide 2008”, “you decide 2012” and “you decide 2016”. Now because the Establishment candidates have lost in the Republican Primary.... They...

Before I go on, I need to say to those of you who are doing politics for the first time, that I am deeply- and I do mean this from the heart - very disappointed this has been such a negative experience for so many. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT. The GOP Establishment, that is busily stealing away Trump delegates, does not really live in DC; it lives in your Precinct and is shaking your hand at your own County Convention. They are Party loyalists who live in the grass roots, and know how to play the game. This needs...

A serious question about potentially brokered (free vote) convention. Some real world givens here. Trump may make it on the first ballot. If he does not, he still has a chance on the second, but that is a lesser chance. If he doesn't win on the first or second, then he is out of the race. Cruz, probably little chance on the first, better on the second, perhaps about the same on a 3d ballot, and if not successful there, he is gone. But they do have to nominate someone, and remember, any Convention Rule can be changed by a...
• Could Powerful GOP Oligarchs Bribe Trump's Delegates in Order to Stop Trump?

04/09/2016 8:18:36 AM PDT · by pinochet · 40 replies
I first want to make it very clear, that I admire rich people, and do not believe in class warfare. But I distinguish between two types of rich people. The first is those who made it on their own, without bribing (through lobbyists, etc) to get inflated government contracts. The second is those who got rich through family connections and inflated government contracts (remember those DoD toilet seats worth $400). I admire the former, because they keep the American economy going. I do not admire the latter, because they steal the wealth of the middle-class. Oligarchs are those rich people...

"And the Northern girls with the way they kiss. They keep their boyfriends warm at night. I wish they all could be California. I wish they all could be California. Whether it be in business, politics, or friendships, we all desire and respect loyalty. Let's consider the 172 member California Republican Delegation that will be seated in Cleveland for the RNC: "The selection of Presidential Nominating Convention Delegates to the Republican National Convention...

Ted Cruz has shot himself in the foot big time with his ill thought out ranting about hating New Yorkers. It's the same kind of rant that someone would make about "Red Necks" in any southern state, ill advised and unacceptable. The Cruz verbage is proof that Cruz will do or say anything true or untrue to gain power and control. He is really not-too-bright-in-th brain-department. He is far from Presidential material!!! For goodness sake....the fool, Ted Cruz, has no clue as to how he is being used by the GOP Establishment for "their" purposes, not his. Does anyone really...
• Cruz Should Drop Out Since He Got Only 43.8% in Texas!

Sometimes it is amazing what comes out of the mouthpiece of a campaign. Ted Cruz's challenged campaign manager is proclaiming that Trump should drop out if he cannot get over 50% in New York. In that case, Cruz should drop out because he only got 43.8% in Texas. The opposition vote in Texas was 27% for Trump, but then 18, 4, and 4, for Rubio, Kasich, and Carson respectively. IOW, a non-Trump vote of only 26%. Kasich is running second in New York, and Cruz had 18% at last count, well below the non-Trump vote in Texas of 26%. In...
• Straightforward mathematical path to elimination for Cruz v Trump

Cruz currently has 517 delegates so he needs to win 720 more (81.6%) of the remaining delegates to reach the 1237 magic number. So Cruz can only afford to lose a maximum of 162 delegates or he is mathematically eliminated.
