The President did not look healthy, coherent and engaged in yesterday's presser. What is wrong with his right eye, which was almost closed?

Slang used primarily by the British. Also used in the former Confederate states to refer to people of the Union states. Origins can be traced to the Ottowa Indians calling the English, "Yang-gees," which morphed into "Yankees" by the British who then took that home after the French and Indian war in 1763.

From the President of the United States. "Sunni Muslims of Iraq. What many people claim is the largest Sunni Mosque in Iraq is now colored red. Don't worry, it's vegetable dye that is halal, biodegradable and will disappear within a day or two. We sent it over with a special smart bomb. I just want you to know that the next one will come in a week, but that will be filled with pigs blood. That's right, you'll spend a long time making the mosque "not unclean". I'll cancel the order if you line up the heads of the guys...

Obama’s Negotiations I have read of Obama’s leadership skills, or lack thereof, for some time now. Now, I read of Obama’s personal negotiation with terrorist. That in itself is highly questionable leadership. The release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl seemed like the result of poor negotiations. President Obama conducted the negations without benefit of the Congress and the law. I thought about how low level these five terrorist suspects must be and how high level Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl must be. Then I began to think of Shakil Afridi, the Pakistani doctor, who was instrumental in providing Obama with the bragging rights...

When Will Obama Reach The Age Of Reason? Parents experience great pride when their child reaches the age of reason. The parental pride comes from evidence that their parenting achieved some success. The evidence is the first signs of their child accepting responsibility for their actions. The child’s position evolves from saying my homework got lost To I lost my homework.

One of President Bush's first steps after 9/11 was to cut off the flow of money to the phony Islamic "charities" that were financing terrorism in the US and elsewhere. They (somehow) figured out the networks, and they put an end to the money flow. It's hard to tell how well it worked, but it certainly shook things up a bit for those outfits. Likewise with our child-invasion from south of the border. Some people here have mentioned cutting off the wire transfers from the US to Mexico, until Mexicans take care of the problem on their side. That is...

As I see it, and saw it, serving my 4 years in the US Navy Submarine Service on the USS Grenadier (SS-525) and the USS George C. Bancroft (SSBN -643) as a TM 3 (MT) was a privilege. I owed my country my time & energy for providing me with the privilege of living in the greatest nation ever to arise on the face of the Earth. I'm not owed anything. Thank you America, for letting me serve.

President Barack Obama is taking a long Fathers Day weekend vacation in California as his administration founders under the weight of accumulating damage from myriad scandals, an un-stemmed flood of illegal alien children on the U.S. southern border and the near collapse of Iraq. The Gallup poll three day average of Obama’s approval-disapproval released Sunday, June 15 has his disapproval hitting 55%, tying the record high Gallup disapproval set in late August 2011. Obama’s approval rating is at 40% putting him underwater by a remarkable 15 points. Obama’s approval-disapproval has trended downward quickly from just two days ago on June...

As of 3:35 PM local time in Moscow, Idaho, the 2014 Idaho Republican Convention is history. And what a piece of history it is! The fireworks started a couple weeks prior to the convention, in events surrounding reorganizational meetings for county Republican Central Committees throughout the state. These are meetings in which officers are elected; sometimes the old ones are reelected, sometimes new ones are elected. Also at these reorg meetings delegates for the convention are elected. Operative word, "elected." This year, there were abnormalities in three counties that drew complaints that were subsequently handed off to the Credentials Committee...

It is time to kick Mexico in the pocketbook America! It is time we refuse buying any and all products made in or exported from Mexico. I have started looking closely at packaging labels for the point of manufacture. Until the invasion of America by illegal immigrants stops and the government of Mexico frees Andrew Tahmooressi, Mexico will not see 1 dime from me and my family. pansgold

A new NASA spacecraft is about to embark on a mission to watch Earth breathe. Before dawn on July 1, the $465-million Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2, or OCO-2 for short, will launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. Then, from its perch 438 miles (705 kilometers) above the planet, the satellite will begin a two-year study of how carbon dioxide (CO2) — a heat-trapping gas that is driving climate change — cycles through the Earth's atmosphere. [6 Unexpected Effects of Climate Change] Human activities, such as burning fossil fuels, now add nearly 40 billion tons of carbon dioxide into the...

Ok all, Yesterday my wife(who works at the Omaha VA Hospital/RN) slipped and fell on a damp tile deck in a patient's room(they had shampooed the passageway(carpet) and it was still damp). Anyway she broke her L. Wrist and her 4th toe R. Foot and "Goose Egged" her head. Her Senior RN is still deciding what to do with her.
