• Conservative Scouting For Girls?

Looking for a conservative organization similar in structure to GSA. I have seen a couple of mentions of different organizations. I have a dear friend who has been a Girl Scout troop leader for years (using old pre-PP books) but who is very disgusted with the course GSA has taken lately. Isn't there something that girls can join that will give them the life skills GSA USED to provide?

A group of climate change scientists were rescued by helicopter Jan. 2, after being stranded in the ice since Christmas morning. But the majority of the broadcast networks’ reports about the ice-locked climate researchers never mentioned climate change. The Russian ship, Akademic Shokalskiy, was stranded in the ice while on a climate change research expedition, yet nearly 98 percent of network news reports about the stranded researchers failed to mention their mission at all. Forty out of 41 stories (97.5 percent) on the network morning and evening news shows since Dec. 25 failed to mention climate change had anything to...

Since we're getting down to crunch time -- the 2014 elections -- I thought I'd send this around while there might still be time to impact them.

My little video runs just under 8 minutes. Please watch it and, if as concerned as I am, go on to Part 2. Then send the links to your like minded friends. Don't bother with any lefty associates as they already know how to play this game and are tuning up the buses as you read this to haul millions of illegals/welfare slugs and, yes, dead folks, to the polls in November!

Melissa Harris Perry, IMO, would rather have Mitt Romney's adopted grandson, either aborted or raised in the liberal democrat crack plantation. Uh, uh, there's no way in Melissa Harris Perry's world that a baby can be adopted into a loving family.

Why Do Democrats Lie? Because they can. James Foard 12/31/2013 Obviously, the Susan Rice interview with Lesley Stahl on CBS 60 Minutes December 22, 2013 does not represent true journalism. It does show the astounding level of insouciance that has pervaded the leftist political hemisphere and their lackeys in the liberal news media when they feel they can roll one lie out right after another; not just, mind you little white fibs, but in-your-face, blatant, over-the-top, "go to blazes I'll say what I want to" lies, where truth is merely a manufactured token to be used for the moment and...
  • Americans rank Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton as most admired: (Gallup) poll

    Yahoo! News ^ | 12/30/13 | Colleen Jenkins - Reuters
(Reuters) - Americans named President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as the world's most admired living man and woman in 2013, according to a Gallup poll released on Monday. Obama topped the annual list for the sixth consecutive year, a typical ranking for a sitting U.S. president, the polling organization said. But the percentage of those surveyed who choose him as the most admired man fell to 16 percent this year, down from 30 percent in 2012. The president's job approval rating has dropped during a year marked by a botched healthcare rollout and stalled legislative...

I guess we're gonna have to change the dialogue on this like we did abortion. When someone says you're anti gay just reply you're pro-hetero instead. Instead of loud and proud we're straight and true. I also think we should start pushing companies to recognize all straight people. Our economic impact is far greater than the homos.

I have been a whiner like many here and I'm putting down my rock inside my glass house in trust that we can have a rock & flame-free discussion of why it is so hard to do anything large scale/tangible against the tide of Marxism/fascism taking over our nation and populous minds. I hope all agree with that premise as it is hard to stop and it is fully intact as colonial west noted today. Fear of consequences is my #1 reason for being family well-being, my children and their future. IRS...NEA...EPA...DOE...HHS...DHS...all are armed with weaponry of copper and...

“Those who educate children well are more to be honored than they who produce them; for these only gave them life, those the art of living well.” Aristotle "The most perfect political community is one in which the middle class is in control, and outnumbers both of the other classes.” Aristotle Many of the troubles America now faces have their genesis – among many others – in the violation of God's laws for individuals and society, generally, and, specifically, those two observations by Aristotle. Aristotle and his philosophical brethren also understood that some humans lack the ability control themselves and...

Thank you GLAAD... Ironically the timing of your latest example of Intolerance with Christians by Cherry Picking and selectively reporting facts out of context, has in a backhanded way managed to bring Christ back to Christmas. Maybe not ideally how I would have liked to seen it done, but that was the end result. This shines an important light on a couple of facts besides Phil's actual remarks, Which by the way I completely agree with him about the bible being the word of God and is our “instruction manual” if you will on how to inherit the kingdom of...

Dear Moses and Apostle Paul, I’m sure you are aware of the brouhaha here in the USA regarding some statements made by a Christian man named Phil Robertson. In the midst of this controversy, we have had the good fortune to have been enlightened by Bernard “Bernie” Goldberg, noted journalist and author. It’s that new information imparted by Mr. Goldberg that necessitates this letter. Please be advised that it has been determined that the lists of sins that the Holy Spirit wrote through you in Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy and Corinthians have been decreed by Mr. Goldberg to be the words...

Meet Phil Robertson Up Close and Personel People that need Jesus will find Jesus. Not everyone who finds Jesus accepts his offer of salvation. Those that do accept Jesus are born again Christians. Phil Robertson needed Jesus, found Jesus, accepted Jesus, and was born again in Christ. Jesus said in John 3:3 1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest,...

If anyone gets any relief from their financial burdens because of Barack Obama's latest cynical political move to tinker with Obamacare, I am glad for them. I am also glad for all the grassroots people and the small group of authentically conservative elected officials like Senator Ted Cruz who have stood up to really oppose Obamacare. I am not so glad for the business as usual politicians of Washington, the Democrats, the Republicans, Obama, Boehner, McConnell etc. etc. who never really opposed "healthcare reform" to begin with, but used the issue to play to emotions so they could win elections....
