Is anyone else feeling harassed by the gay rights “equals” logo? I see it everywhere: it fills my Facebook page, it is on the news, it is everywhere and I feel pounded by it. This enormous red and pink “equals” sign is strong and effective; it is also becoming a bully club as it appears everywhere and those who bear it seem to want to beat us into submission. My job is analyzing art, so let’s look at this sign. Isn’t purple the color of the gay alliance? Wouldn’t a pink equals against a purple background be prettier and more...

Today the U.S. Supreme Court begins to decide if the people of California were wrong to decide that marriage is between a man and a woman. It also begins arguments that the people, through the Federal Government, could were wrong also. Interesting that this is beginning on Holy Week, when we remember when the Lord went to the Cross to pay for the sins of folks like us. All we, are truly going 'Astray' like sheep. In this case, in a bad way.

Rumors of North Korea’s allegedly Holocaust-style concentration camps have long been the source of concern and outrage for some in the West. Indeed, between firsthand accounts from supposed escapees and disturbing satellite photos that seem to prove the existence of labor camps, it appears North Korea has a terrifying amount of control over its people. And now, a collection of drawings that has seen a recent surge in Internet traffic is drawing attention to the issue once again.

In an unjust society, where the enforcement of law is simply a charade, jury duty reduces those who are called upon to nothing more than actors and actresses helping to maintain the fraudulent facade of authenticity being put forth by the state. In my opinion, since it is evident that the Federal laws having to do with the eligibility of the President...

Ten Neo-Confederate Myths (+one) "Secession was not all about slavery." In fact, a study of the earliest secessionists documents shows, when they bother to give reasons at all, their only major concern was to protect the institution of slavery. For example, four seceding states issued "Declarations of the Immediate Causes Which Induce and Justify Secession from the Federal Union". These documents use words like "slavery" and "institution" over 100 times, words like "tax" and "tariff" only once (re: a tax on slaves), "usurpation" once (re: slavery in territories), "oppression" once (re: potential future restrictions on slavery). Will someone please state the obvious--male/female marriage comes from natural law. Marriage is the natural way that a man and woman raise and nurture the children that they bring into the world. The whole structure of human society is built on the foundation of male/female marriage. It is acceptable to deny marriage to members of the same sex because they have never had rights to marry under natural law and it is not, therefore, discrimination. Same sex marriage will also open up the door to other forms of marriage such as multiple marriage and incest.
